Uncharted 2: Among Thieves I have to agree with this one, it was a very cinematic game and had a movie-like ending. The whole light-hearted, "We've just been through some shit and deserve to relax a bit" thing. Plus Drake being Drake is always a win.

Have to agree with Metal Gear Solid 4. Such an amazing feeling of closure, and the sense that all of the battles these characters have been through were finally over. I loved they fakeout near the end where it looks like {Spoiler}Snake kills himself. But, of course, the thing that absolutely seals it is {Spoiler}Big Boss showing up. And, on top of that, putting Zero out of his misery, and then reconciling with Snake. Simply amazing. The Metal Gear series pretty much ended up making Big Boss the Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader figure of the series (a once good man and noble warrior who lets personal tragedy push him into becoming a murderous monster). Having him finally find peace after all the years he spent consumed with grief and vengeance is the perfect way to end the entire saga of the series.
And, on top of that, Snake himself gains a new sense of optimism and desire to live out his remaining years in peace. Some people have called this a sad, bittersweet ending, but I disagree: I think it's very heartwarming and vindicating.

Okami's ending is as beautiful and amazing as the game it belongs to. And speaking of bittersweet/sad endings, Mother 3. Oh God, Mother 3.

I have to say 2 games for 2 different reasons in which I know nobody will agree with me
My number one ending has been and always will be Kingdom Hearts. Now, even though I played both 1 and 2 before, I never gotten farther then a few levels....however my ex had me sit down a few months ago and would not rest until I beat KH1. I did, and after everything I went through, Beating the Devil from Fantasia as scary of a motherf***er as he is, and beating Ansem.....I had to reach that ending and a bit of me actually cried as corny as it sounds
As for the other ending?, well....its unconventional yes, but this sums it up

Metal Gear Solid 3. My internet is crappy at the moment so I won't post a youtube video. But I will say, it could bring a tear to a glass eye. God... was a perfect ending to that game. *spoilers* I've never seen a more satisfying ending for a videogame, vis-a-vis what you put into the game. So many games have you crawl and fight and scratch your way through the impossible, and then give you nothing for an ending. But THAT was really something. The only more comprehensive ending was MGS4. That ending was more exhaustive than the damn game that preceded it.
