With speculation from Bryan Alvarez and others that Punk will turn heel on RAW either in or after his match with John Cena. What do you think?

He shouldn't, but if anybody is going to, he's the most likely to.

I have a strong feeling he's going to turn and keep the title. It leads to a pretty palatable money-making scenario and will set things in a fresh direction. Plus, we're long overdue for the "courageous face fights uphill battle against dominant heel champion" angle.
I see Punk winning at Raw 1000, Cena either sidelined or distracted for a bit, a Punk vs. Rock angle with awesome promos that sees Punk victorious through nefarious means, and after that, Cena ultimately winning over Punk and ending his impressive reign.

No and he shouldn't. I do think WWE will do like the did for most of last summer though where he's a face to the older crowd because he's anti-Cena/Rock but a heel to the rest because of that and by TLC he'll be back to the happy go lucky typical WWE style face again.

He's far more likely to turn than Cena at least.

Because apparently people miss him droning on and on about how everybody in the world is a druggie but him.

This. Why turn Punk heel when the more impacting and easy move would be to turn Cena heel?

This. Why turn Punk heel when the more impacting and easy move would be to turn Cena heel? I'd rather both of them stay face. I feel there needs to be multiple main event level faces rather than just Cena OR Punk. If Cena turns, that will just make Punk the only face that matters and it wouldn't really be much of a change.

It seems like they've been planting seeds for a heel turn. With what Eve said last week, and Big Show on Raw saying he's just a cog in the wheel and Cena will always be the only one who matters. And IMO, Punk is much better and more natural as a heel. And WWE seemingly isn't ready for another big-time babyface, because they only want Cena in main events.

I’ve lost all interest in CM Punk ever since he became a face. It’s not his fault, WWE just sucks at booking faces, they simply do not know how to make them entertaining.
CM Punk has lost EVERYTHING that made his character interesting. He still puts on good matches, but I find it harder and harder to care about his character with each passing week.
A heel turn would be a blessing for him. Maybe he could actually utilize his charisma.

I don't think so, mostly because while he's not as popular as Cena, he's waaay more popular than Orton or Sheamus. Someone dependable and over like Punk as the Number 2 face is gold, and throwing it away just for the summer? Err.

Do they want the mass of their fans to buy it? Then they better keep him face for a while. Punk is like Cena but double is this stance, turning Punk heel is the risk of throwing millions of dollars that the core audience will invest into him out the window.

Because he's an incredible heel, IMO at least. I like face Punk, but I LOVE heel Punk.

There's no reason at all for him to turn right now. Not from a logical storytelling standpoint, or from a fan support one.
Just wouldn't make any sense at all.

Even if he turned heel he would still be second fiddle to Cena.

I don't think so. In fact, I think it might be the beginning of a change in Cena's character.

No.
What possible sense would that make? He turns and who do you have left besides Cena on the face side?...Jericho...Miz? who knows what they're planning with those two. Until they show more signs of either being face...they don't need to turn him.

No. He's over with the crowd, plus they've got him on the cover of WWE '13, and he has a big DVD coming this fall. His shirts still sell.
