Tiebreaker: Robbie with a flying forearm. He needs a win here and I don't mind Super Kendrick taking the loss.
Robbie whips Super Kendrick into the ropes, but it's reversed! As Robbie bounces back, Super Kendrick catches him with a frankensteiner! Cover...
One!
Two!
Kickout! Super Kendrick leaps to the top rope, but misses a flying cross body! Robbie quickly spins him around and hit's the Fist Pump Cutter! Cover...
One!
Two!
Three!
Borash: The winner of this match, Robbie E!
Tenay: Robbie did it! A win over Super Kendrick! Sadler: And with payback out of the way, one has to wonder if and when Robbie will ask for his rematch with Brian Kendrick...
Eric Young, Matt Morgan, and Devon are watching footage of Joey Ryan. When the camera pans towards the screen, it shows that the match is Joey Ryan and Disco Machine against Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black on Wrestling Society X.
And now there he goes for the hot tag. It looks like Ryan has a sound understanding of the fundamentals.
Also, he's a bit goofy. I mean, as we saw out there, he is all about comedy. It looks like he even actually incorporates that into his matches.
So sound fundamentals, but possibly prone to getting distracted. Interesting. Most importantly, I'm starting to get a grasp of his wrestling style. He reminds me of one of the old school X-Division stars. Like AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels. Fast, amazing agility, but smart. When was this tape from?
2007. Next one is from 2009. Joey Ryan vs Colt Cabana from Ring of Honor, before Colt headed up north.
Good. Singles action, facing a top talent, lets see how Joey fares here.
They pop out the old disc as the screen fades.

Robert Roode, Vince Russo and Taeler Hendricks are in the rafters.
Well Vince, everything’s going according to plan. I beat my former tag team partner and tonight, I will become the TNA Legends Champion.
It’s going to be great, Bobby.
Brother Roode, while the Revelation gives you it’s full support, I have to say this. Sting has expressed some concerns of his regarding some of your recent… business decisions.
Russo looks at Taeler.
What? You mean Taeler? Vince relax! Taeler’s a great girl and she totally get’s what we’re going for here! She’s on our side and with a little work, she’ll be the Women’s Champion before you know it!
Now I’d love to chat, Vince. But I have a title to win. See you at the victory party after?
Robert…
Oh yeah. It’s Bobby now. Later.
Roode and Hendricks exit as a concerned Russo watches them go…

Borash: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a fifteen minute time limit. And it is for the TNA Legends Championship!
Borash: First, being accompanied by Taeler Hendricks, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at two hundred and forty pounds, Bobby Roode!
Borash: And his opponent, from Hell’s Kitchen, New York, weighing in at three hundred and twenty nine pounds, the TNA Legends Champion Mark LoMonaco!
Tenay: Bobby Roode earned this title shot at Slammiversary by defeating his former tag team partner James Storm. Sadler: This is LoMonaco’s first title defense Mike. And he hopes it won’t be his last.

I feel bad for Lodi to lose the belt so soon, but I'm liking Roode's push.

That was my own fault. I was too focused on Garfield Mafia, so I gave up on a promo.
But I'll bounce back.

We head to Christy Hemme backstage.
At this time, I'd like to talk to a Knockout we haven't heard from in a whi...
Matt Morgan suddenly walks into the shot and grabs the camera from the cameraman.
Hey! Where are you going with that?
Matt continues walking until he reaches an identical interview area. He places the camera on a tripod, showing Eric Young standing next to Devon.
Legendary Eric Young, tonight you face Joey Ryan. As the top champion, greater than everyone else, master of the death valley driver, and all around...
If you don't mind, Devon, I want to treat this one seriously. Just give me the mic.
Devon hands the mic over and leaves the shot.
Joey Ryan. At the start of this day, I had barely any idea who you are. I knew of you, but you weren't anything important to me. Well congratulations, because in just this one night, you've made me give a damn about you. I figured tonight's match would be a simple cakewalk, but I now realize my mistake in that thought. You have skill. You have talent. And it looks like I'm going to have to treat you seriously.
Joey Ryan, you may not know this, but I haven't watched any bit of tonight's show. Usually I like kicking back, and studying my fellow competitors, but tonight I was on overdrive. Every last second dedicated to you, Magnum. Hollywood's Own Joey Ryan. I've studied your moves. Your past companies. Your accomplishments. Matches and feuds. Everything. If it deals with Joey Ryan, I've come across it tonight. I'm willing to wager that I might even know you better than yourself.
And thank god that I studied that footage, because I found a big mistake about you. You're funny... but you aren't a comedy wrestler. I used to be a comedy wrestler. I used to get the laughs, but ultimately lose the matches. You can give the people joy, and still find a way to win. A rare skill.
All of that being said, I paid you the compliments because I respect your ability. But that doesn't mean you're winning tonight. I've treated this match seriously because you showed me some serious disrespect in that ring. You acted like I was the joke. You fooled around and tried to make me look like your idiot. I don't appreciate that, especially on what was supposed to be a night celebrating the biggest accomplishment in my career. You barge in and have the audacity to shout TNA! TNA! TNA! less than 49 seconds after you've debuted for this company.
AJ Styles can shout that, the Motor City Machine Guns can shout that, even Sting could probably get away with it, but not you. You are some outsider coming in, and acting like your god's gift to TNA. You're not. You're just a man thats figured out that these sheep will chant for anything.
Mr. Joey Ryan, tonight in your first ever TNA match, you get to face the TNA World Champion. That's a rare opportunity, and I'm sure you're salivating for this opportunity. I am too. Tonight I get to change the pattern. I get to change the status quo. Every new guy comes in and defeats a TNA talent that has busted their ass for this company. Guys who have put in years for this company end up somehow dropping the ball against a talent that has been here for minutes. I will not lose to you, Joey Ryan.
You can give me a fight, you can give me a war. You can throw everything you can think of at me, but I will survive it. I will kick out at two. I will reach that rope to break the hold. I will beat you tonight Joey Ryan, even if I can't walk after this one is through.

Borash: The following non-title contest is scheduled for one fall, with a ten minute time limit.
Borash: Introducing first, from Hollywood, California, weighing in at two hundred and ten pounds, Joey "Magnum" Ryan!
Borash: And his opponent, accompanied by Matt Morgan and Devon, from Nashville, Tennessee, weighing in at two hundred and twenty five pounds, he is the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Eric Young!
Tenay: Joey Ryan making his TNA debut tonight. Sadler: And what a way to kick off your career with a company, taking on the World Heavyweight Champion!

Borash: Ladies and gentlemen...
The time limit for this match has expired! The referee has ruled this match a draw!
The crowd boos and Ryan looks deflated.
Tenay: Can you believe it? Another second and Joey Ryan would have won his debut match here in TNA! Sadler: The fact that it was THAT close though... I wouldn't pack it in yet if I were Joey Ryan.
*We go backstage, where Taylor Wilde and Melanie Crank are backstage. The TNA Women's Tag Team Champions are busy preparing for their match tonight, ready to defend the titles against The Beautiful People. Wilde and Crank shoot one another glances before Crank suddenly stands up.*
Alright Taylor, let's talk.
About?
About this.
*Crank picks up the Women's Title.*
Ever since I won this title, you've been acting different towards me. Whether it's training, grabbing a bite to eat, or just hanging out. There's something different about you Taylor, and if this title is what's driving a wedge between us, let me know now. Because I'm not about to go out there and try to defend our titles, only to be screwed over.
*Several tense seconds pass as Taylor and Melanie look at one another. Finally, Taylor sighs.*
It's not just the title. It's what comes with the title.
The tag titles we have, we know the challengers. The Beautiful People, Daffney and Winter, not to mention people like Madison and Mickie. But that title, anyone can go after you. They don't need partners, they just need the motive to do so. You're going to have plenty of challengers, singles and tag team, and I'm worried that soon the challengers will be too much. You'll focus on the Women's Title, you'll help me defend these belts, but it'll overwhelm you soon enough. You'll have to choose, and I'm afraid of your decision.
Taylor, I told you-
I know what you told me. It's the same thing Daffney told me, and that ended horribly. She's still aligned with Winter, whether by choice or by force.
I'm not Daffney-
I know!
*Taylor looks at Melanie, tears forming in her eyes.*
I'm not asking you to be Daffney, and I'm not expecting you to be Daffney. I wouldn't change anything about you Mel. I'm just worried that you'll leave me like she did. That I'll be alone again.
*Taylor looks at Melanie, tears flowing. Without warning, Melanie wraps Taylor in a hug, holding her tightly.*
Like I said, I'm not Daffney. And that means I'm not going anywhere. I told you Tay, this title isn't going to get in between us. And I also promised you that I wouldn't leave.
*Melanie pulls back slightly, wiping away a few of Taylor's tears. The duo stare at one another for a few seconds, still locked in their embrace before Taylor pulls away.*
Well... we, uh... w-we have a match coming up.
Yeah... we need to defend these titles.
*Taylor wipes away the last of her tears as she grabs her title. Melanie does the same as the two prepare to leave.*
Hey Mel?
Yeah?
*Taylor gives Melanie a hug.*
Thanks. For everything.
*Melanie returns the hug as she rests her head on Taylor's shoulder.*
Anytime.
