The lack of Austin makes this show inferior to what it could have been. Simple as.
If it's intentional, then it is clever but I am sure it is not.

That is an awesome photo moment, Punk standing in the ring with the WWE Championship and Cena and Rock laid out

Bless you CM Punk. You take out the movie star and superman. You smack around rude fans and love comics. You are the internet's dream version of themselves.

Rock was only hit with 2 moves and he sold like he'd been shot. This feud could be interesting.

Wait, am I missing something? Why was anybody expecting Austin to come out in that segment? Cause he's the biggest star Raw ever had period. And he didn't show up any other time tonight. Something is wrong, because they did mention him

Punk is sick of the company pushing Rock and Cena over him and the fans cheering for guys like HHH...or at least I hope he says stuff like that.

So uh... technically, the first MitB to fail, does so on a DQ.
Huh.

The moment was awesome and admittedly I cheered, but I seriously have no idea why you would turn HIM heel out of no where. Getting too close to Cena for comfort? He's not a heel. He's an anti-hero tweener type like he was last summer. He did the right thing by not immediately taking advantage of Cena but still didn't help and he attacked the guy who has been stealing his spot all year.

Outside of the ridiculous "Grr, don't be talkin bout my babies!" rage from Triple H somehow causes him to outfight Brock Lesnar, I really enjoyed the show.

Wait, am I missing something? Why was anybody expecting Austin to come out in that segment? Because it doesn't seem right to have a huge Raw milestone without Austin appearing.

Lawler went on the whole "Punk turned on the WWE Universe" kick. He's heel.

Punk seems more 'Anti-Hero' than full out heel right now. i like that

Punk's destiny was always Flair not Hogan.
And Rock was selling for him HARD!

That show wore me out, but I enjoyed it for the most part. Even though Austin wasn't there and that disappoints me, I'm at least interested in CM Punk's character again! first time since last summer...

I thought Punk was an awesome babyface, but hey, maybe he is better as a heel. If he faces Austin, he's probably going to have to turn heel. The promo next week should be epic.
I wonder what happened with Austin? I know they weren't advertising him, but it still sucks that he wasn't there. Its too bad this show didn't end with a beer bash featuring all the talent past and present like Raw 15 did. The end felt like a bit of a letdown.
