I could be wrong on this, but it certainly seems like they are already pulling the brakes on any major Ryback push. He's been taken off most live shows, including most Raws (still appears on PPV tho), and even seems to no longer be this super dominant force. Now suddenly being dominated early in a match with Swagger, and unable to stop Jinder Mahal from escaping his wrath. And while it could be a lot of reasons, I'm starting to think the fact that "Goldberg" chants continue to fill the arena in every match he's in may be a reason for it.
I like Ryback, and I see potential in him, and honestly despite some things, he feels less like "just the WWE's Goldberg" and somewhat more original. He is starting to get over with the crowds, but that chant may be the biggest hindrance.

They're definitely ruining the Lord Tensai gimmick but no, I don't think they're hurting Ryback's push.

Nah, the crowd loves him, they chant along with him now. It's gonna happen regardless. FEED ME MORE.

I dont see why its so difficult for them to chant Ryback instead. Its still 2 syllables.

He hasn't been on tv? He was just on Smackdown last night.
Oh and I was there (on Tuesday I mean) and there were like 20 people out of thousands chanting "Goldberg". The crowd seemed to dig him and hated seeing Jinder Mahal beat him down.

He hasn't been on tv? He was just on Smackdown last night. I mean more live stuff like Raw. Despite being on the last few PPVs, he seemed to be on every Raw at one point, and lately it's been once in a blue moon.

He's not going to appear on the 1000th episode because he wasn't important enough, but that doesn't mean his push is over. And I don't really see the need for him to be wrestling twice a week anyway right now.

Swagger is a 270 lb hoss with actual technical skill and a former World Heavyweight Champion (I remember it well). Jinder Mahal has a vicious mean streak and hardly ever loses. Surely you don't expect them to be treated like 120 lb indy jobbers do you?
