Gus, mafia or not, you are definately coming across as very defensive. Knee-jerk vote on M. And now you are calling yourself 'lynched' when you only have two votes on you. You need 11 more before that can happen, so its not even close to happening.
Focus more on clearing the suspicions on you rather than attacking anyone that suspects you.

Pointing out that I've now made THREE hints to my character and making my "Two Mafia" hypothosis, which was based on something Notorious had pointed out which triggered my suggestion, should not have been enough to cause M or Latino to vote againt me unless there's something going on with those two.

Yeah, but it comes off really bad if you freak out about it. Like you're very afraid of getting lynched, which makes it look like you're mafia. Like SNS said, if you can make a calm, rational argument as to why you are town, it works so much more well. Given how much you've helped, I don't think you're mafia, but you're digging yourself a hole by reacting the way you are. If your accusation is right, then yeah, you're going to ruffle some feathers. But by explaining your thoughts and not freaking out, you can make it more clear to actual town people that you're on there side. Not necessarily saying M or Latino are Mafia, just looking at it from your perspective, Gus.

Figures. And I would be voting differently than any of them. JoNo - You're posts have been mostly non-committal. Your posts have a "filler" feel to them that I mentioned in an earlier post, and you haven't done anything to change that feeling... and why would you? Noone has called you on it til now. What are your thoughts? Lots of votes been thrown around. Surely you have an opinion on one. Sure. Gus is being a little defensive, but he's likely still a bit testy from the other game. And I actually agree that M's vote is somewhat fishy. And I don't really know who most people's characters are yet, aside from the screamingly obvious (hookuh). But I'd really like to know why people are so suspicious of my character!!!

But I'd really like to know why people are so suspicious of my character!!! For me, it goes back to WWE Mafia. No, I didn't play, but in that game, two unexpected characters turned out to be mafia. Not saying it would definitely happen here, but we need to consider it. I have a similar suspicion on Notorious based soley on character. What I want is for you to convince me my hunch is wrong. So far, neither of you has given me anything to be suspicious of. But you haven't given me anything NOT to be suspicious of, if that makes any sense.

Damn, our votes are just all over the place, aren't they? It seems pretty obvious that we aren't going to get a lynch but it's probably for the best that everyone get their votes in. That way, we know where everyone stands and people being accused can clear the air and defend themselves.
As for my vote, I'm voting for Hawkeye. Yes, he's explained himself multiple times but at the end of the day, simply using this day phase as an "neutral observational phase" isn't helping. You have to have an opinion on SOMETHING. So,
Vote: Hawkeye

I think a first day lynch could be very beneficial to town, to at least have on record who voted for whom. As for who, like I said, we've been scattered. M's vote on I want to support Magiconz's vote on Hawkeye. I said it earlier: Personally, I think if we're lynching because of how often a player will be on, or by how much they can help, I think we should go with Hawkeye. No offense to him obviously, but he said it himself: I've noted several times that I work a full time schedule plus overtime, I post when I have the change and when I feel it's valid. There's no point in posting just to post because then I look suspicious for not saying anything. There's little point in supporting another theory because then you people just get suspicious of both people and start throwing around accusations. I'm sorry if I don't want to draw suspicious to myself by just posting drivel. He works a full time schedule + overtime, and rarely post that much. I understand that is sort of his style/strategy, but we already have people like J and Jono that do the exact same thing. We have a ton of people who already do the same thing, and that is one of those strategies that not everyone should be doing, or else nothing will get done. Vote: Hawkeye

EBWOP: A line got deleted.
..we've been scattered. M's vote on Gus seems a little suspicious, but I don't feel anywhere near confident to lynching him. I want to support Magiconz's...

Unvote: Ritt
I am now debating to vote on knailsic and hawkeye since Ritt finally posted. There seem to be more votes for hawkeye. But I really lack trust in knailsics dependability. I don't think knailsic has the work commitment like Hawkeye does so I am going to vote for
Vote: Hawkeye
Knailsic could still show up anytime.

It's not strategy, it's me adjusting my posting habits to match when I can be awake/here. I'm basically totally uninvolved in thread (except for a few quick checks here and there) between my posts so I get hit a big ass block of action all at once. It's not some kind of strategy and if it is, it's f***ing stupid.
I really don't understand it with you guys, one game I get railed because I post too much, one game I get accused because of my post restriction, and this game there's a witch hunt because I'm a busy man that happens to love these games. You guys all need to relax and go with the flow because you're never gonna get anywhere chasing a dead lead.

But you realize it really doesn't help town if you're uninvolved? The more town people hide, the easier it is for mafia to hide as well.
It doesn't hurt when you check in to say "I've read X, Y, and Z, and I feel..." even if its restating someone else's thoughts. Because it keeps the game moving and forces mafia to come out and put their opinions on record.
If you're only going to post when people vote for you, then you're not really adding to any conversations or sharing your thoughts on what is going on.

I just am not feeling Hawkeye. Seems like an easy target at the moment and I am usually in favor of early killing the less active. However, I am agreeing with Kami's vote. Everyone else getting votes I think can be useful whether town or mafia later in the game because their posts seem to reveal something. I can't get an honest read on knailsic at all and he seems to be playing the same way he played in the last game he was mafia.

It is worse to be inactive and not be as busy as Hawkeye claims. Hawkeye is busy and still contributes more than a lot of the other players. I am gonna cut you some slack.

I'm not siding with anyone thus far; what I am siding on is that Gus is being REALLY defensive about things and playing just... odd. I get that we are all paranoid, not knowing who is evil and who is good... who to trust and who not to trust, and that's all part of the game.
I was going to push on Hawkeye originally, because that was what my initial criteria for being lynched included, but Gus pointing the finger directly onto someone that suspected him and being very jumpy makes me feel that maybe there's something there.
Will a lynch happen by the end of today? Hopefully. Is it probable? Not really, pigs.
A lynch vote is our strongest weapon against the mafia, and not using our strongest weapon at the end of the day is what is going to tingle my spidey sense.

People are getting very timid and afraid to lynch anyone. As a heads up, I've only made it to the end of the game once, and that time I was mafia. Every other time I've died, most of the time at the hands of other town members. The name of the game isn't self preservation, its ultimately about the town winning. I honestly don't mind if people don't vote for Hawkeye. I pointed out that he is very busy, he shows up twelve minutes later. If he is here, and he actually posts and helps, then great, thats another person working with us. But seriously, if everyone is afraid of putting their neck on the line and eventually committing to a vote of some sort, then this'll be a very easy victory for the mafia.

Not voting is the worst move anyone can make at this point. It makes you look like you don't care what happens one way or another and those are the kind of people we don't need in this game, town or not.

You guys have raised good points. I want to help the town in any way possible and despite the fact the Hawkeye and Knailsic haven't posted much, at least Hawk has an excuse for it. I mean, I didn't post in the afternoon because I was at school and my parents have a strict "No computer before 6 o'Clock" rule. So:
