I don't know what WWF and WCW are doing right now their world champions are Ahmed Johnson and Davey Boy Smith. DBS isn't even in the main event scene also. Also three days after Mariko Yoshida and Tajiri win the tag titles, she gets a severe concussion and is on the sidelines for a month. Yeah I have no clue what the AI's on. In my recent game as the WWF I saw the following for the WCW World Title. 1996: The Giant (it started with him in the mod) 1997: Rick Steiner 1998: Eddy Guerrero 1998-1999: Meng 1999-2000: Scott Steiner 2000: Meng 2000-2001: Rick Steiner 2001-2002: Kevin Nash with the exception of Kevin Nash and the Giant, none of these people have been main eventers, even after getting the belt.

I enjoy the thought of Meng hiding the World Title in his afro.

This was posted in GMiEWRHIII, but I'll post it here too.
Just getting past Halloween Havoc (the October PPV, based around cage-based matches like Elimination Chamber and Hell in a Cell) in my WWE play-through in TEW 2005, this is what's going into November, on the road to Survivor Series.
Champions: WWE Champion: CM Punk (starting champion of the scenario) World Heavyweight Champion: Dolph Ziggler (won over The Miz at Night of Champions) United States Champion: Kane (won over Drew McIntyre at Night of Champions) Intercontinental Champion: Ryback (won at SummerSlam) Tag Team Champions: The Usos (won over Ziggler/Swagger at Night of Champions) Divas Champion: Beth Phoenix (won over AJ Lee at Halloween Havoc) Legends Champion: CM Punk (won over Brock Lesnar at Halloween Havoc) Cruiserweight Champion: Seth Rollins (won over Antonio Cesaro on a SmackDown event)
The Legends Championship is meant to be a title held for mainly legendary WWE Superstars such as Brock Lesnar and Shawn Michaels.
This is what happened at Halloween Havoc:
Beth Phoenix over AJ Lee (c) due to Kharma interference to win the Divas Championship (C+) Seth Rollins (c) over Kassius Ohno to retain the Cruiserweight Championship (B-) Ryback (c) over Mason Ryan and Wade Barrett to retain the Intercontinental Championship (B+) Kane (c) over Zack Ryder to retain the United States Championship (A) Chris Jericho over The Big Show in an escape-only Steel Cage match (A) Sting over Alberto Del Rio in a submission-only Steel Cage match (A*) Dolph Ziggler (c) over Jack Swagger, The Miz, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and Tensai in an Elimination Chamber to retain the World Heavyweight Championship (A) John Cena over Zombie Benoit (A*) CM Punk over Brock Lesnar and The Rock in a Hell in a Cell match to retain/win the WWE and Legends Championships (A*)
CM Punk will most likely vacate the Legends title, either that or he defends it, sometimes with the WWE title as well.
My feuds going into the next PPV:
Divas Championship: AJ Lee/Trish Stratus vs. Kharma/Beth Phoenix A continuation of a feud between AJ and Phoenix, with Trish and Kharma at their respective sides.
Intercontinental Championship: Ryback vs. Chris Sabin Chris Sabin will be signing onto WWE during November, so I'm holding a feud out until he's actually on a roster, maybe just having a feud-ender match with Ryback and Barrett on the Raw or SmackDown after Halloween Havoc.
United States Championship: Kane vs. Drew McIntyre vs. R-Truth vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Zack Ryder A continuation of a McIntyre and Kane vs. Ryder feud, except with Kofi and R-Truth changing the numbers game and joining Ryder. It will be using the same storyline slot as Ryback/Sabin.
Tag Team/Cruiserweight Championships: The Usos vs. Team Death Punch (Ohno/Cesaro) vs. Xavier Woods and Seth Rollins Rollins holds the Cruiserweight Championship, and Usos hold the Tag Team titles. Woods and Rollins are in a battle of one-upsmanship with Ohno and Cesaro, which will result in Usos potentially losing the titles, and a big Winner Takes All match at Survivor Series.
World Heavyweight Championship: Dolph Ziggler vs. Jack Swagger vs. The Miz vs. Randy Orton vs. Tensai vs. Daniel Bryan Orton and Tensai had a big feud, including an I Quit match at a Saturday Night's Main Event special in October. Daniel Bryan turned face (originally tweener) on Miz at NoC, resulting in Ziggler, who turned against Swagger to turn face earlier in the night, cashing in successfully.
Sting vs. Heyman Guys feud: Sting vs. Brock Lesnar The last leg of the Sting vs. The Heyman Guys feud, the stable containing Brock Lesnar, Alberto Del Rio and Zombie Benoit, with Paul Heyman as leader.
WWE Championship contender's feud: Undertaker/Del Rio, Benoit/Cena, Bray Wyatt/Tyson Kidd, Jericho/Big Show Will continue up to the Royal Rumble, at the Royal Rumble match, where one of these guys win. Possible ultimate victors could be Undertaker, John Cena and Zombie Benoit. I might have the Legends Championship end up bouncing between a couple of these guys, if I decide to do it.
WWE Championship: CM Punk vs. Christian vs. The Rock Christian, in my game, is apparently VERY over, so I'll probably have him win the title at one point, maybe winning at Survivor Series and then losing some time during the Road to WrestleMania to Punk or Rock, to set up a match with the Royal Rumble winner.
Hopefully, with all this, I'll be fine heading into the next few months. The Survivor Series card I'm currently working on. Updates will come soon.

I'm trying to get started in some TEW 05. Got the updated rosters, etc. Can anyone give me some quick pointers? Im half way between overwhelmed from the step up from simple old EWR...and confused by how simple it is compared to OOTP14.
Thanks

Booking TNA 2012 after BFG but pretty much retconning all the Aces & Eights stuff and acting like the whole storyline was blown off at BFG.

My favorite EWR game is my ongoing ROH 2013 save. It started in September, it is now July.
-Michael Elgin won the vacant World Title in a match with Kevin Steen at the first TV show, then they were both beaten down by the debuting Entertainers, a stable of Jericho, Antonio Banks, John Hennigan, Carlito, and Beth Phoenix.
-Elgin's first feud was with Chris Hero, who came in as a tweener. It was a respect feud, with Hero being like "This guy is the world champion? The fat kid with tassel boots?" Elgin went over, then feuded with Adam Cole. He held the belt for 4 months, from September 7th to April 27th, losing the World Title to Jericho, thanks to the debuting BRRROCK LLLLLESNAR. Elgin and Lesnar feuded, Lesnar went over in a Hell in a Cell match. Lesnar is now feuding with Steen. Meanwhile, Jericho has defended his title against Adam Cole in the best series of matches in ROH history.
-Speaking of Steen, Steen was Jericho's first feud. He lost an "I Quit" match after Bennett stabbed RoH in the back and joined The Entertainers. Steen beat Bennett in a feud, and that wrote Bennett off 'cause his matches sucked. Steen then feuded with Carlito, the TV champion, and won the belt. He lost the belt in a feud with Drew Galloway, who took Bennett's place in The Entertainers, thanks to the interference of Brock Lesnar. Because Lito lost, he was kicked out of The Entertainers, and he became the manager of Eddie and Orlando, the Puerto Rican Express.
-The RoH Women's Title went from Madison Eagles, who held it for a month, to Sara Del Rey, who then lost it to Beth Phoenix. Phoenix has beaten all comers, including Ayako Hamada, Awesome Kong, and Cheerleader Melissa. Now, she's starting to feud with Mia Yim, fresh out of a stay in developmental, with really good stats.
-The Wolves lost the tag titles to Hennigan and Banks. This made Davey go crazy, and he went winless in feuds with Hero, O'Reilly, and now Ken Shamrock (who has been killed off by Bad Bones, who also has obscene stats from developmental). He's going to get his life turned around by Life Coach Archibald Peck, and he and Bobby Fish are gonna become a tag team. As for the tag titles, Banks and Hennigan have beaten FIST, Laughter7, and The Mellow and the Madness (Eddie Edwards with a "dude" gimmick and Black Machismo, who left the company shortly thereafter). But they have finally lost the belts to 3.0 (who have crazy stats after time in developmental [see a pattern?]), but that feud is ongoing.
-The only other stable of note is the New House of Truth, which started out with Martini, Ciampa, and Doug Williams. Nikki Roxx turned heel and joined them, and it got her a little more over. Williams turned face, and Martini brought in his new charge Fergal Devitt (Developmental. Stats. You know the deal). They're feuding awesomely.
-James Keenan has been putting on five star matches all the time, Roddy Strong has a gimmick of being unlucky, Kyle O'Reilly is the North American champ (something I stole from comahan) and is feuding with Shelley. Estrada is his manager.
I think that covers everything of note, and I might put the roster in a later post.

Right, like I mentioned earlier, I was going to put up the roster in my ROH 2013 save. I'll put an asterisk by the guys who've been through developmental, and the stats are organized the same way they are in the game (Over, Brawl, Speed, Tech, Charisma). I left out managers. Also, I forgot to mention a few details. We've got three shows, all on Prime Time, and we're 50 percent global. TNA's 34, and WWE's still 100. {Spoiler}{Spoiler} ACH (88/58/87/59/78)

Something from one of my saves that I found hilarious considering the discussion going on in the CHIKARA thread. I decided to mess around with making up a promotion in EWR. Decided to hire 3.0, and about two or three days after I did, Shane Matthews went to rehab. I'm now on my second month with that particular save and two other guys have also gone to rehab. This is actually my second attempt at this particular save, because the first time I was positioning Chuck Taylor for a big push and he broke his leg a day or two after the very first show. I wasn't very far in, so I just restarted. Might be cursed, who knows?

Question about TEW 2013: Is there any penalties for ending a feud that has at least C+ or better heat where one the participants has fairly poor success? I really don't get the storyline system in these games.

Question about TEW 2013: Is there any penalties for ending a feud that has at least C+ or better heat where one the participants has fairly poor success? I really don't get the storyline system in these games. I think, don't hate me if I'm wrong, that success is kind of the main determinant on whether a particular worker will have penalties or bonuses and that heat is just a modifier. Better heat will probably increase bonsues and maybe also lessen the impact of the penalties, but I'm, PRETTY sure that any worker that has any kind of poor success will be penalized if they leave the storyline in that state. I find personally that is not that hard to keep everyone in the storyline successful, because there are plenty of angles you can use that will boost people's success without hurting anyone else's. You can also do a jobber match and have someone from the other side interfere in the match and it will count towards the angle and give the winner of the match success. Another trick is having a jobber you don't care about or manager who can take beatings align with each of the primary forces in the angle so they can be your sort of "bad success cushion". Be the proverbial Tama Tonga/YOSHI-HASHI of the feud if you know what I mean. There's a lot of little things you can do and none of them are really gaming the system because they are all things real wrestling companies would do if they care about having both sides of a feud look strong.

I'm looking to get back into EWR/TEW (likely EWR first.) I've had games going before, but my longest was like 6 months, with kinda helter skelter booking. Can someone give me advice on how you keep a good, linear, long term booking thing going? I figure I'll write it out beforehand rather than just come up with random stuff, but any advice is appreciated. I'll post the happenings here, if all goes well.

So, I did a weird thing.
I started a three person game in December of 1997. I took the booking positions of ECW, WWF, and WCW. With ECW I hired the people I wanted. With WCW and WWF I fired every single person the company would allow me to fire. WWF was left with The Rock and Taker. WCW had Flair. I then resigned from those two companies and played as ECW for awhile.
Flash forward a few years. Its now June of 2000. I am running my own made up promotion which is at cult level and number 6 in the world.
I end up purchasing the WWF and making the mistake of keeping it open as my developmental territory. For some dumb reason I thought I'd be able to take who I wanted from the WWF but no, they have contracts with the WWF, I can just send my rookies there. So now the number one company in the world is my developmental territory which kicks my companies ass every week.

In my ROH game, WWE just fired 50 staff, including the fink, michael cole, and the ring announcers. At least the budget cuts are realistic.
