officialfan.proboards.com/thread/506591/wwe-2014-watchI've been writing this diary for awhile now based on my current game, a reader on another forum described it as the love child of Chikara and WWE. Currently features Dolph Ziggler as a private detective, Emma and Layla as Sailor Scouts as well as Fandango as a monster heel.

I'm doing a game with OVW with Mike Mondo as my main heel, he has a faction called The Pinnacle and has the heavyweight title. He was feuding with the main guy that was left once I purged the original roster Jamin Olivencia who was just rocking it as a babyface. Really hot feud going up to the big blowoff and Jamin gets signed to ROH. Most of my other guys are all occupied so I went "screw it I'm putting the title on Bob Bauckland!" Brought him in along with the Headbangers and Hardcore Holly for a legends show, had Bauckland challenge Mondo and they put on a suprisingly well recieved match

On my new savegame, even before my first show, Layla admits being a drug addict. Now she's on rehab. Poor Layla

I'm doing WWF in 1998. I'm booking very similar to actual WWF at the time, which doesn't appear to be going well. I've actually lost public image by 20% since starting. And right after the Royal Rumble, Henry Godwinn checked into rehab, after I'd started building to a Godwinns/Quebeccers match at No Way Out. The next day, Sunny pissed off people with her backstage behavior, so I suspended her for a month.
Anyone got tips on how to regain image?

I just started an EWR of WCW 2001. After the first Nitro, Bill Watts takes over the WWF and like 40 guys quit. Holy crap!

After having burned out on EWR for a while, I just started a casual WWF 96 save. No diary or anything, just booking. It's from January, so Razor and Diesel are still there. Going to try and usher in the Austin/Rock/HHH/Foley era with Bret/Shawn/Razor/Diesel still in the company.

I recently got back into EWR as well. Playing WWE 2012, right now I'm on track to have Brock Lesnar (who basically squashed Cena at Extreme Rules) beat CM Punk for the WWE title at Summerslam.

Here was my WrestleMania 12. Ended up doing a lot of the same things.
WRESTLEMANIA XII - 1.84 Buyrate - 18508 Attendance 1. Rey Misterio Jr. defeated 1-2-3 Kid to win the Light Heavyweight Championship. - 78/71/86 | ***1/4 2. Windham/Bradshaw defeated Billy/Bart to win the Tag Team Championship. - 84/77/91 | **** 3. Steve Austin defeated Savio Vega in a Singles Match. - 81/84/77 | *** 4. Jeff Jarrett defeated Ahmed Johnson in a Singles Match. - 84/88/77 | *** 5. Roddy Piper defeated Hunter Hearst Helmsley in a Hollywood Backlot Brawl. - 83/84/81 | ***1/4 6. Vader/Owen/Bulldog defeated Sid/Yoko/Roberts in a Six Man Tag Team Match. - 83/86/78 | *** 7. The Undertaker defeated Diesel in a Singles Match. - 87/97/67 | **3/4 8. Shawn Michaels defeated Bret Hart in a Singles Match to win the WWF Championship. - 92/94/88 | ****
To explain a few things:
Rey, Jericho, and Psychosis were still in ECW when the save began, so I couldn't resist putting together a Light Heavyweight division to counter WCW's cruisers. Obviously, with how disgustingly amazing Rey was back in the day, I'm probably going to be building it around him.
You'll notice a lack of Razor Ramon, which is because he was injured 4 days before WrestleMania. He's my IC Champ, and was set to defend the belt against Hunter Hearst Helmsley (who has Mr Perfect as a manager), but obviously that couldnt happen. At the same time, I had the Piper/Goldust match penciled in because I always thought that was a lot of fun, but Goldust ended up going to rehab, so I just matched Helmseley up against Piper.
I decided against doing an Ironman match in the main event, because I hate that stip. I feel like knowing when a match is going to end sucks a lot of the drama out of a match. In my mind, they went out there and had a really long match, but it wasn't announced as such beforehand.

He's only gonna be champion for about four months so ideally, I'm gonna have him wrestle on Raw about 4 or 5 times.

I have Brock as champion in my TEW 14 but don't like using him outside of PPVs and an occasional Raw or Smackdown but as a top wrestler he gets annoyed of you don't use him so I always do a Brock and Heyman promo or hype video on the show to keep him happy. Just signed Kenta to NXT from Japan, but was wondering why he wasn't being used by his former promotions, then realised he has a broken neck and will be out of action for a year and two months

Thinking about saying screw it and having him wrestle on Raw every once in a while, but we'll see.

I know its not too terribly difficult to get crazy match ratings in EWR, but its a surprise when it comes in a Smokin Gunns vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley & Steve Austin match. 100 match rating hype.

So I'm gonna try (try being the operative word) to book a WWE Reality Era, starting the night after Punk's Pipebomb and ending at Wrestlemania 31. Anyone have ideas as far as booking goes?

So I brought in Ron Simmons as a babyface in early 96 WWF, rather than bringing him in as Faarooq. After feuds with Lawler and Jarrett, he absolutely exploded in overness. Not needing another top babyface (Shawn, Bret, Taker, Razor), I turned him heel, and he's going to be getting a huge match at SummerSlam - either against Bret (who didnt take the hiatus he took irl) or Shawn for the WWF Title (where he'd be replacing Vader, who is slightly less over).
It's King of the Ring right now, and I'm having him beat Yokozuna to put him out of the WWF for good. Re-writing history. It's not the nWo era or the Attitude era. It's the Ron Simmons era!

I've started a Chikara game, using the roster circa February 2010. I released 13 guys at the start and brought in people like RVD, Sabu, Kidman, London, Heyman, Cabana, Generico, MsChif, Hamada, Kaval, DDP, and Booker T. I made Quack a non-wrestler and put him on commentary for my weekly show. I'm in January now and just got a second late-night show, so I can start booking more than just my feuds, which is great. I've got Hawkins and Ryder, The New Nightshift(UltraMantis Black, Hallowicked, Crossbones, and Blind Rage), and Diabolic Khaos(Delirious, MsChif, and Daffney) waiting in the wings to be elevated, plus Bateman, Otunga, and Mason Ryan ready to be used. So the new show came at a great time.
Also starting to plan King of Trios. In addition to some of the obvious choices(FIST, Night Shift, Diabolic Khaos, UnStable, Colony), I'm gonna bring in Madison Eagles and The Canadian NINJAs as Team SHIMMER, team Jazz with RVD and Sabu as Team Extreme, and I've got a few other ideas for Trios.
I have a question, though. Currently both of my shows are late-night. When would it be a good idea to try getting my first show bumped up to a better timeslot? In past saves, whenever I tried to going from Graveyard to late-night, I got canceled within 3 weeks. I don't want to screw up the momentum I've got going right now.

Welp, just before King of the Ring, HBK suffered a bad neck injury and is out for 8 months. Have to vacate the title. Only positive is that he'll be back just in time for WrestleMania 13. Will need to figure out how to handle that.
I think I'm going to strike while the iron is hot and give Simmons the title. He's my most over heel, and I think he and Bret is the best SummerSlam main event I have right now (as weird as that sounds based on reality).
I have mixed feelings on whether I should create the Nation. Loved the group irl, but I don't want to just recreate everything. At the same time though, it would be different because they'd be a main event group with how over Simmons is. We'll see.

Might as well list my tag teams and stables too.
Faces:
RVD and Sabu, who are my tag champs The Colony The Osirian Portal The Psycho Circus The Throwbacks I'm also thinking about teaming Duggan and Bateman
Heels:
Swi$$ Money Holding Kingston and Del Rey Delirious and MsChif Mantis and Hallowicked Hawkins and Ryder Gerard and STIGMA Akuma and Icarus 2.0 Los Ice Creams Plus, since Donst, Mantis, Delirious, Hallowicked, MsChif, Daffney, Blind Rage and Jenna are a stable, I can also reunite Incoherence or The Scream Queens.
I'm also looking for two guys to team with Brody for a feud with the Psycho Circus.
