I just started up a new game and I'm using the "McMahon Family Feud" fantasy scenario. Has anyone ever tried this before? I decided to go with ECW. HHH is ECW Champ and so far I've signed RVD and Kane. According to Sophie I should have about 48 workers on the roster, so obviously I still have a lot of people to add. I don't plan on going overboard with the big names, though. I've seen people give it a go, doesn't seem bad. I do want to try creating an updated McMahon Family Feud. ECW with an updated roster would be nice.

Recently started playing a 1999 mod, as WCW.
World Heavyweight Champion: Chris Benoit US Champion: Disco Inferno (no, really. For some reason, he's really over.) World Television Champion: British Bulldog World Tag Team Champions: Eddy and Chavo Guerrero WCW Cruiserweight CHampion: Psychosis (took the belt off Mysterio, who is having 4+star tag matches with Kidman) WCW Hardcore: Raven (Belt will likely be rebranded or dropped)
Hooked Lance Storm and Chris Jericho back up as a team, and they're having insanely good matches. Signed RVD, Sabu, AJ Styles, Loki, Christian York, Joey Matthews and Steve Corino, who have all gotten over.
A few nobodies signed to developmental, including Bryan Danielson and some dweeb named John Cena.
Oh, I've also been booking Charlie Haas often. Much like in real life, he f***ing refuses to get over.

Played EWR for a very long time now, and I'm ready for something new. Anything I should know about TEW 2005 before I move on? Is it radically different?

Played EWR for a very long time now, and I'm ready for something new. Anything I should know about TEW 2005 before I move on? Is it radically different? It's a lot more in-depth. The biggest difference is that you don't get a set a amount of segments to fill but instead have to fill out a certain amount of time for every show. So, if you were booking current-day RAW, you wouldn't just have 11 segments to book. You would have to book 3 hours worth of matches and angles. It allows you a lot more freedom than EWR but it does take some getting used to.

Finally got back into my 2010 TEW WWE Game after a long hiatus. Just finished Money in the Bank where Luke Gallows defeated my long reigning United States Champion, Justin Gabriel to win the belt.
Right now I'm planning a huge invasion angle with new signees Nigel McGuiness, Elijah Burke, Robert Roode, Chris Sabin whose stuck doing nothing at the moment since I let Shelley go awhile back for being a constant nuisance, and the leader, the one guy who I've been pushing somewhat, Christopher Daniels.
I'm planning a long term build to Survivor Series with a match featuring those five and John Cena, Edge, Chris Jericho, Dolph Ziggler, and The Undertaker. Daniels will also be getting pushed to the moon.
I also have Eric Young, whose pretty much a jobber at this point, and Samoa Joe now, but I'm gonna go a different route with him.

Since it's taken me 4 and a half years to book 2 and a quarter years of WWE booking in TEW 07, and since my mind can't stop working on an idea until it's finished I have a 4 year storyline planned. I figured I'd share it here due to the unlikeliness of me ever actually booking it to completion...
March 2010, NXT debuts. The 8 'rookies' consist of Joe Hennig, Richard Blood (Richie Steamboat), and created stars Garrett Thunder, Taylor Portnoy, Lemmy Mack, Hollis Knight, Tyrone Briggs and DOKU. When Briggs was eliminated first, he received an RKO from Randy Orton, his pro. After NXT's first season had ended and Taylor Portnoy was the winner, the 8 rookies attacked World Heavyweight Champion Orton and Shawn Michaels during a match on the draft edition of Raw. They became the Nexus and revealed they were disrespected by Orton and the other pros, so they're coming in to teach the 'pros' a lesson in respect, as part of the bigger picture. Pretty close to real life so far. Team Nexus would defeat Edge, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk and created stars Wesley Savage and Frankie Delgado, Blood and Thunder would defeat Shawn Michaels and Davey Richards for the Tag Team Championships, but Portnoy fell short to Orton in his pursuit of the World Heavyweight Championship.
The Nexus would take somewhat of a backseat, with Briggs and Knight leaving, and Portnoy taking time to refocus, adopting the Piledriver as his finisher, injuring Edge and hurting Dolph Ziggler for long enough to capture the Intercontinental title. They would then reveal themselves to be an 'insurance policy' and until further notice, for hire. John Cena would take advantage to use them in a Survivor Series showdown with bitter rival Randy Orton.
On the road to Wrestlemania 27, Mark Henry is the World Heavyweight Champion and has defeated practically the entire Smackdown roster. The Undertaker returns to challenge him at Mania, and looks beatable in the buildup. Taker prevails, but is headed on a collision course with Kane, who returned at the Royal Rumble and has been causing anarchy across the brands for months. Kane reveals he is working with a higher being than himself, the Patriarch of The Family. Members of The Family are revealed in the leadup to Summerslam as the Boogeyman, created star Blackheart, and the newly indoctrinated Kofi Kingston, Kaitlyn, Dean Ambrose and Cousin Paddy (Alex Shelley). They are a misfit group of unique individuals who have cultish qualities. Charismatic spokesman Lotus debuts at Summerslam to help Kane win the title from Taker. The Patriarch is unseen all the while.
The Undertaker reveals that he is the Bigger Picture, and the Nexus was his idea. Nexus members and their allies Melissa Anderson and (created star) Vic Blackman take on the Family on the road to WrestleMania 28, where the Undertaker will meet the Patriarch... Sting. The Streak lives on, but Taker is now twisted in his focus to regain the World or WWE Championship.
Becoming an evil figure who believes he has the respect of everyone and can intimidate them into doing whatever he wants, much like Heisenberg, and turns heel. Blackman is the new leader of the Nexus and vows to stop them, winning the World Championship in the process. At WrestleMania 29 Taker finally looks beatable against Blackman, but Portnoy screws Blackman over and becomes the Pinkman to HeisenTaker.
Taker knows he's nearing the end and wants to go out on his terms, vowing to remain champion until WrestleMania 30. Blackman finally dethrones him at Survivor Series when Portnoy sees the light and screws Taker, where it all began for him so many years ago. He is then eliminated from the Royal Rumble by eventual winner Portnoy, and fails to win the WWE Championship at No Way Out.
Portnoy meanwhile forgoes his title shot at WrestleMania 30 to challenge the Streak. Taker seems somewhat despondent and more annoyed than threatened by Portnoy's challenge. Portnoy works hard to get Taker's attention, finally doing so by 'becoming him in order to defeat him', running through various incarnations of the Deadman's past. Taker declares on the night that win, lose or draw, he is retiring after this match. An epic match ensues in the main event, where the Underaker wins, retiring with the Streak intact at 22-0.

So... trying a New Japan diary. But I need help, which is where you guys come in.,
Stables, tag teams and team names. I'm fairly sure I have everyone in CHAOS and possibly Suzukigun, but I'm unsure of anything else.

Back on TEW after solving my licensing issue after my previous computer decided it was going to die.
Started a new promotion called Golden State Wrestling (I know it exists IRL, but this is different). Financially sound cult level promotion at the moment, just got our first TV show on Late Night Spike having done two PPV events through Dish Network. We boast a rather good roster, featuring a lot of top guys, including my own created guy. WWE released a lot of people after losing a fair bit of money so I picked up a few guys.
My last event before we enter the world of television is in a few in-game days. Will post the results up and follow it with the roster some other time.

I tried getting into TEW but after one week I had practically the whole roster on my back about how they were being used. It was particularly annoying with part-timers like Triple H and Lesnar who you can't use too much. I put Triple H on one segment on the next show and then he started complaining about being used too much. Is there a way to keep the roster from jumping on your back so quickly?

OK. Downloaded a March 2013 update for TEW 2005. Now what do I do to move the data there? I know I made a question about it earlier, but I don't think it worked last time and I need help.

I know this trick works in EWR but I don't play TEW (or I did but disliked how complicated it was) so I can't guarantee it will work, but open the March 13 update folder, select all the items, then move them to your data folder and agree to overwrite all.

I've had plenty of guys ask to be hooked up in regular teams, but never for managers. The oddball pairing is also quite excellent. 2- Your in-game username is funny.
