Honestly,I wish Rock was out of this entire thing. Sure he's good for business and all,but I have zero interest in seeing him at another Wrestlemania.

My guilty desire is that when/if Rock ever wins the WWE title, that they keep it on him for like 2 years. No lie.
That way, since Rocky will pretty much skip every RAW/SD/house-show, the title will actually. Be. Prestigious.
Think about it. You only get to see the WWE champion/title on PPV, and those are the only time when The Rock will defend his title. Just like in the good old days-- people will pay a premium for that, and in the meantime Cena will just dominated every tv show's main event like he always does, so not really a big change aside from the increased ppv buys and prestige for the WWE title.
Since The Rock is probably the single biggest draw in the WWE (maybe Lesnar or Taker could outdraw him now that he's been back for over a year, perhaps) if he becomes that kind of rarely-seen champion in the WWE (while being often seen on the red-carpet or in public with the WWE title), I think everyone benefits. From the midcard straight up (also gives them an excuse to feature tag team/women's title matches more and in turn build up the prestige of those belts as well).

Not due to it being the Rock but because frankly every single champion becomes overexposed with them being on at least one weekly TV show, every PPV, every TV special. Let's say they gave Punk a gimmick of legitimately not appearing for anything except promos on weekly shows, and only competing at PPVs it'd make the title seem incredibly important. And as you said it'd mean other titles would have to be pushed up. They may actually put a focused effort into the World Championship for the first time since just before Wrestlemania.

That's not news. That's speculation. That's one of the worst examples of that I've ever seen.
Also, if Rock went into Mania as champion, then the winner of the match would be so painfully obvious that I would almost not want to see it.
