What keeps Adam Lambert from the front of the band. The fact that he sucks. Then again, it's easy to say someone sucks when you're comparing them to Freddie Mercury.

What keeps Adam Lambert from the front of the band. The fact that to a lot of people, Queen isn't really the same without Freddie Mercury. Lambert can try his hardest, but there will never be another Freddie Mercury.

Then again, it's easy to say someone sucks when you're comparing them to Freddie Mercury. Or any time it's Adam Lambert.

What keeps Adam Lambert from the front of the band. I meant to put "*WhatEVER keeps Adam Lambert from the front of the band." As in ... bring on the hologram so Adam Lambert doesn't front Queen. Didn't realize my mistake until just now, and after many responded to it as though I was pro-Lambert. Just need to make it clear ... I am NOT pro-Lambert.

Any word on what Deacon thinks (I know he's retired but I'm still curious since he was also in Queen) Deacon has been EXTREMELY private after completely retiring from music and the media in general, he hasn't done any kind of video, audio, or article interview since then (none that I'm aware of). So I highly, highly doubt we'll ever hear what he thinks about it. Though, if I were to take a guess, judging by how very close he and Freddie were (they were all very close, but it always seemed like Freddie was the most closest with John), he, like Roger, is uncomfortable with the idea. I haven't even seen a pic of him since 97 EDIT Found a pic from 2009 2nd from left obviously

The guitarist vows: “People will come out saying, ‘Did we actually see Freddie?’” No........No they won't He's been dead for 20 years. No-one will think this at all I consider myself a massive Queen fan but I can't say I'm fussed either way I do sorta get the appeal of it as it'd be cool to pretend that he's on stage etc. but in the end it'll just be a recording (Admittedly a brilliant recording since it is Freddie but still) Remember though, people believe Paul McCartney is dead.
