I've thought a lot of Part 3's have sucked so this isn't necessarily a universal truth or anything. Though I have experienced my fair share of Part 3's that blow away their preceding two (A Storm of Swords, Prisoner of Azkaban, Revenge of the Sith, Xenosaga Episode III, Persona 3, Castlevania III, etc).

That too. That game they basically said "Hey, let's see how many different environments we can make!" and then tried to shoehorn a story that fits into it, and it doesn't work.

Gran Turismo 2 was much better than Gran Turismo 3

and personally I thought Sonic 2 was much better than Sonic 3... But that's just my humbly esteemed Opinion
