Out of all the NXT girls, she'd been in developmental the longest. She actually got hired before Kaitlyn. She wasn't on NXT. She was in FCW, then Tough Enough, then FCW again. I meant "new NXT", as in NXT/FCW.

Ugh, I don't see why people keep bringing up Cameron in these threads. She dances for 30 seconds. That's it. She has no character, she does not wrestle, or ring announce... it's a terrible gig. Would people have really been pleased to see Sofia Cortez in her role instead? She's good at dancing, she is never going to be a Divas champion.

I just said that WWE must have judged that Cameron was either the better dancer or better looking (or both), otherwise they might have chosen Christina to be one of the Funkadactyls.

I didn't mean to come across snippy or anything, I just don't think its fair to keep bringing up Cameron as if she's receiving a huge push, while all the talented Divas are being released. Shallow as it sounds, as soon as there is a cost-cutting initiative or Brodus gets repackaged, Cameron is gone.

Agreed, if it weren't for Brodus Clay I'm sure E would have released Naomi and Cameron last December.

Cammy and Nay-Nay get as much exposure as Brodus does, which is a lot for an NXT/TE Rookie who hasn't grown up in this biz like a Cody Rhodes or a Michael McGillicutty. They get their names announced and are featured during the entrance with Brodus, and dance with the kids in the ring afterwards. On RAW and Smackdown.
That's an extremely lucky break for everyone involved. Alicia's sister could've easily been slotted in as a third dancer if the fates had allowed. Randomness seems to be the main factor at play with the Divas Division in these later years.
