So if the new GM of say, the Yankees wound up being a crazy young women you wouldn't think it was extremely odd? yes, I would, because Major League Baseball is not a predermined activity. If MLB had already booked the Texas Rangers to beat the New York Yankees in the ALCS I would probably wonder why a young woman was in charge of deciding who was in the league championship series but, as this is totally, completely different from that, I'm only left to wonder what this has to do with being inordinately upset with a person on a wrestling show skipping about for 14 seconds Ok, how bout this. The new coach on Friday Night Lights is going to be played by Anna Kendrick and her characterr is nutjob ex-girlfriend of one of the players. Still not stupid?

I know wrestling is fake, but I still cannot get over how and why Vince decided to make AJ the GM of RAW. How does that make sense? How is Vince not super pissed at AJ for letting Jericho go??? And like the week before he makes her GM, she ruins the main event, potentially injuring two main eventers and an up coming PPV. And her credentials are Lita fan, NXT contestant, Daniel Bryan's girlfriend and wrestled a handful of matches. Even if they were/are going for the Hanna Monatanna crowd this would be a stupid plotline for that show. Has there ever even been a gm under 40? Steph was GM of Smackdown.

To be fair (in kayfabe of course)... -Daughter of the owner of the WWE -Ex wife of one of the top superstars -Ran ECW during the Alliance -Former Women's Champion -Was apart of McMahon-Helmsley, a faction that dominated the WWF for a pretty long time -Was an established name

Still not stupid? it's only stupid if you hold pro wrestling to the same standard that you do to every other form of entertainment in the entire world. In which case you should probably try to get to the bottom of the mystery of why The Undertaker hasn't been the Undisputed Champion for the last two decades. And none of this changes the fact that this whole thing is based on a complaint about "skipping", which, even if you added it all up, is something that could be measured in the same time it would take you to wash your hands

I don't know why you're so hung up on how long she skipped for. Yeah, that's what the OP mentioned but it's still about her personality and she's got the one character that affects everyone else. I'm even all for this character. She could be doing exactly what she's doing character wise as a Diva or a manager, even a commentator, why not? But not as a GM. The wedding angle that results in a gm announcement made no sense either.

I hated the skipping even before she became GM. For me it was part of what her a bitch of a heel during the whole Bryan/Kane/Punk thing.

That's rasslin'. You want to push some twenty-whatever like she's a giddy, little schoolgirl. Okay, but whatever you do, don't put her in a position of power because that'll come to seem ridiculous.
What the f*** is she skipping about anyways? Her life sucks. Only now that she has the wheel is she able to make the DBs of the World suffer.
If that makes her skip-happy, okay, but don't just have her skip by default. She's a mothersnorking executive.

I'm just getting sick and tired of seeing her. I haven't seen a wrestler being handed so much for doing so little.

I know I can't stop skipping. Skipping ahead whenever she's on screen. Jah bless DVR. Yeah, AJ's "CRAZYLOL" character has jumped the shark already, and it hasn't even gone on but for a few months! She doesn't even really do anything crazy, she just tilts her head and jumps around. She's less like a psychotic or manic person and more like a little girl who's just eaten a dozen candy bars.

Don't get rid of the skipping. The whole point is that she's suppose to be this big businesswoman now and yet her cray-cray comes through even when she walks. It creates a funny visual with a woman in a business-suit skipping everywhere.
And there's still anger over her promotion to a fictional job? We had D-List celebrities do the job week after week and then Hornswoggle. It's clearly not a hard job to perform.

Yeah, and this board crapped all over all of that nonsense too. Doesn't mean that this deserves a free pass just because she's more talented than those hacks.

I don't really get why they should get rid of a trademark walk of a wrestler. It'll always bs part of her character now. It's like telling Ric Flair to stop doing the strut in some promos because it seems forced or telling Heidenreich to stop his popeye march. If Ric Flair strutted everywhere he went 1) it would take him 25 years to get to the ring and 2) I'd start to think he was retarded. While this is clearly quicker, 2) still applies here.

Hopefully someone just clotheslines her while she's doing this one day (Kane, I'm looking at you), then she bumps her head and the second "injury" makes her normal again, resuming her career as a prop for a wrestler or she wrestles as a diva.

It explains why the "she has no experience!", "she's young!" aren't relevant complaints for that job anymore. Back when Eric Bischoff got fired, had they replaced him with Maria Kanellis it would have been stupid because she clearly would have been out of her depth. The job now has developed to a point where they've shown anyone can do it. Her predecessors had no experience. Some where just as young. As for why she got appointed, it's Vince McMahon appointing someone for entertainments sake. She consistently got the better of Main Eventers. She has a screw loose. Vince likes that.

They may have set the precedent, but that doesn't mean everyone's going to accept it. It's like Cena's goofy promos. He's done them for years but even so, many forumers are intolerant of them because they still find that even though it's supposed to reflect his character's personality it still takes them out of whatever promo he's in. AJ's just a part of a trend of GMs, but people here didn't like when any of those people got elevated and found them all unqualified or stupid picks. And in that vein, AJ is just another target in a line of GMs.

The main show, yeah, give it the crazy girl in her early 2Os. I hope this wins the Gooker. Not when this year has seen the Bischoff Saga, and the Dixie/AJ/Daniels/Kazarian/Claire Lynch clusterf***. Daniels' awesomeness throughout this angle(as well as Kaz & AJ the last few weeks)have saved it from being the Gooker....the Bischoff saga on the other hand I'll give ya.

I remember when me and my father were at MITB, he wished either Punk or Daniel would just kick her ass and be done with it, she annoyed him so much.

I found it hilarious when she skipped into the room out of nowhere. I don't even like it usually, but that was placed well.
