You're allowed to be a pound over.

Not in title fights, hence the controversy.

While it is in the rules, even Nick Diaz can't say that four tenths of a pound was an advantage for GSP.

While it is in the rules, even Nick Diaz can't say that four tenths of a pound was an advantage for GSP. I don't think that has anything to do with it. Diaz before the fight went on and on about GSP getting special treatment and about how the guy was probably on steroids but neither of them would be tested because GSP's too important. Then something like this comes out and no matter how you slice it, GSP did in fact get some kind of special treatment in this situation.

If GSP did come in over 170, which looks true because GSP admitted it, then Nick has every right to be angry but I don't know what he expects UFC to do about it. They aren't going to give him another shot at GSP. Not without taking another fight or two.

Here's the thing, though: Is this mess worth the time and effort because GSP so happened to be slightly heavier than he should have been? Because we're talking about less than half a pound here and I don't think there can be a case of GSP being favored because he didn't left like going to the bathroom before the weight-in.

Since GSP was overweight they should just give Nick Diaz the amount of money which would be equal 20% of GSP's purse for the fight and then move on.

So after seeing some of the questionable reffing at the TUF Finale, it made me realize I hadn't seen referee Josh Rosenthal, the guy who called Lesnar-Carwin among other UFC main events, ref a fight in a long time. He was a pretty good ref, so where's he been? Well I just found out that he's been busy pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute $6 million worth of marijuana and is facing up to 37 months in prison after agreeing to a plea deal. www.bloodyelbow.com/2013/4/17/4235650/ufc-referee-josh-rosenthal-marijuana-prison-mma-newsWell....uh....that answers that question.

Since this is the second time that the Flyweight belt has been deafened on a UFC on Fox Card I do wonder if the plan is to keep on free cards rather than PPV for the time being.

Most likely. It's the newest and most underdeveloped of the men's divisions in the UFC. It's also more than likely not going to be bringing in as many viewers as the other divisions (they are just "midgets" after all, right?) so the UFC figures that the free cards are a better platform to build up the division and its champion since the free cards almost always get more viewers than payperviews regardless of who fights on them.

So every guy from TUF 17 who lost on the Finale except Uriah and Cella who lost the week before. Meh.
Maybe if they're lucky they can ask Michael Bisping for some of his $425,000 disclosed pay he got for poking Belcher in the eye really hard. He's never fought for a title and he made more for winning than Jones did. That's crazy.

Why is Leonard Garcia still employed!? DAMNIT! Because he is exciting cough cough. That or maybe because he is BFF with Donald Cerrone.
