Days and days of multiplayer with friends, that is what Goldeneye is.

Awesome game. Played alot of the multi-player in college with buddies of mine. My sisters and I play it now and then til this day.
1 time in college we were playing the license to kill mode, and we told of the guys playing he had to get the license before he could kill anybody or it would count as a suicide against the guy. And the guy went through the whole round looking for the license, getting pissed he couldn't find it. We told after the round he didn't need the license.

It's definitely a classic, but for me, it's past its prime. Playing it on the N64 was pretty cool, but the control was thrown off now that I'm used to modern FPS controls.
Playing it on an emulator kinda fixes that problem, but it's still pretty dated. The story mode is less than stellar and the game feels very slow-paced. Maybe it's just my preferences, but it just doesn't hold up as a good shooter. It's kinda weird because I still play Doom quite a bit.
The multiplayer mode back in the day was amazing. Hours upon hours of mindless fun. I actually like Perfect Dark's multiplayer mode more, but that's a different story. So as much slack as I laid on it, I will still remember it as a definite classic. If someone ports CLASSIC Goldeneye to XBLA and NOT a remake, I will be one happy camper.
Also, is it me or is the Klobb absolutely useless?

Double-wielding Klobbs made them better, but I think the issue was that its range was very limited. You had to be point blank for solid hits, or at least that is how I remember it.

It seems almost like the bullets fall short of hitting their target. It's like they just sputter out of the air.

An extremely good fun, great game but hasn't aged as well as people often claim.

The Klobb is at least semi useful on License to Kill, where you only need to actually land one shot to score.
