And Marvel's Captain Marvel has been on the Avengers cartoon, so he's had some recent exposure with the animated series crowd, too. Fair point. I just think it'd be kind of convoluted to try to introduce him right now. Maybe a little later, but focusing on Ms. Marvel would be better, preferably in the Warbird costume.

Any of the women from the X-Men roster would be good (Storm, Emma Frost, Rogue, Psylocke, Domino, Monet, Jean, etc.)

While they could easily do so, introducing Ms. Marvel without having Mar-Vell precede her would just feel wrong. It'd be like doing She-Hulk before Hulk or Venom before Spider-Man.

honestly Ms. Marvel's the only one who'd even work as a solo movie and even she'd be too tough a sell for most people.

honestly Ms. Marvel's the only one who'd even work as a solo movie and even she'd be too tough a sell for most people. Marvel's momentum at this point means they would probably be able to do it. They would just need to promote it properly. Ms. Marvel is a good option in so far as that she is a heroine with powers different from anything on offer in the Avengers at the moment and that she is from the military, so she could come into being without pressure that an "unregulated" hero might get. Have Dr. Lawson(Marvel's civilian identity) appear and all for the origin, but don't have him as Captain Marvel, both for the reason I mentioned before, and because then you are in danger of giving him too much of the focus. Just imply a few things and save him for later. Even still, though, this might be tough to do, it's just not undoable.

None of them can currently get their own comic book, movies are probably far far far in the future.

I wouldn't say that Ms. Marvel has all that much pop culture awareness. Her stock has gone up in comic book fan eyes, definitely, but those same fans almost certainly know Mar-Vell as well.
And Avengers: EMH was far more recent than JLU, and by the time a Ms. Marvel or Captain Marvel movie could come out, those specific appearances of DC's guy would be a decade old and easily forgotten by the average joe.

The same average Joe who might have played DC vs Mortal Kombat, DCU Online, or watched Young Justice. Again, he is a higher profile character, and that is not a knock against Mar-Vell. And Ms. Marvel has been in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games, so some of these same casual fans might be aware of her. I realize that none of these 3 is a household name, but of them, Mar-Vell is likely in last place.

I won't deny that he's likely in last place.
But the gaps aren't so huge that his presence would cause any problems or undo confusion.

Comic sales are like Impact ratings, no matter what they do they're never going to sell any more then they do now, never. The strangeness of this of course is that comics as a whole still make slightly more money then they did 15 years ago, about 3% more based on the ragsites.

The only thing that IMO would be a slight problem is the Rogue connection , and the fact Ms Marvel ended up in a coma for however long etc.
But anyways.
Ms Marvel She-Hulk Psylocke
Would be the best marvel heroines that could have their own solo movie first to properly introdouce them.

The loss of the Rogue connection /does/ hurt the character, especially since the Marcus ordeal will likely never happen either, but they could easily make-do without it.

None of them can carry a movie. Maybe She-Hulk because her size actually helps the audience suspend disbelief.

They should do a Spider Woman movie, if only to rustle Sonys jimmies a bit, and more than likely make a superior "spider" movie. ![](http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f352/erisi236/sw.jpg)

Do Ms. Marvel, and just skip an origin story. The Marvel movies have established that heroes exist for a bunch of reasons. Start the movie with news footage of her fighting crime then launch in to the story. We do not need origin stories for any damned comic film.

That would be such an awesome story and would have no need to have a complete origin movie , just use flashbacks to piece together he complete origin story with the most important moments , and plus it would have wolverine the ultimate Marvel Cashcow...well untill recently.
