Honestly?
This looks better than Brave.
THIS is the animated film Disney should've put in the summer, imo.

They can have as many quarters as they like. That looks awesome.
I also kinda want a downloadable Fix it Felix game now.

'Brave' looks good, but by its very nature it looks like it'll have a limited audience appeal that might get swallowed up by the summer blockbusters. Ralph could really cash in by not having as much competition, and a broader appeal.

It was smart releasing it a few weeks before Spider-Man to make at least some bucks. And you are right, putting Ralph out in the fall is a smarter move. Less competition for the family bucks(the fall is usually filled with horror films, bad action flicks, and the Oscar bait films), and being a video game based film during the holiday shopping season when a lot of focus is put on video games? Really smart there.

I'd have held it back if I were them, it deserved to reach a wider audience rather than just playing "alternative to Deathly Hallows 2"

I hope Bison has his usual cheesy voice. Hearing him talk about "ABSOLUTE POWAH!" would be great. I'd also settle for a "YES! YES!" or "OF COURSE!" scene.
You've gotta think there will be a battle of some sort with everyone doing special moves at some point.

Zangief, Bowser, Eggman, Clyde...yup, it's like a modern Who Framed Roger Rabbit. SOLD! I also saw Bison in there. I have to take issue with Zangief being a bad guy. He isn't really; usually he's just a dumb guy being manipulated ("General Bison is a bad guy?!?").

Yeah I was going to say is Zangief really a bad guy? Other than he's the Russian guy... I don't really remember him doing anything explicitly bad... Edit: Like that the music that's playing in the beginning of the trailer is basically the opening to Castlevania

I wonder how they got the rights to all those characters... It's Disney. If it came out that Disney was secretly the Illuminati, nobody would have trouble believing it. Probably each game company paid a hefty sum for some product placement, like how Mr. Potato Head and Barbie and Ken are in Toy Story.

And it seems like Japanese complanies are more easy going with lending their IP's for crossovers.
Maybe Ralph can be in the next Smash Bros. as a Donkey Kong reskin since he's obviously heavily influenced by him.

Okay, I was figuring this was just going to have assorted fake video games in it, but with a crossover like this... Yeah, Bowser sells me by himself. True. It may be Pixar, but they still basically sent it to die against Spider-Man. I'd have held it back if I were them, it deserved to reach a wider audience rather than just playing "alternative to Deathly Hallows 2" I also think its run time hurt it. Shorter movies usually have a bit of an advantage, but at barely over an hour I wasn't quite able to justify to myself paying full price to see it and I'm sure some others felt the same way.
