I'm actually getting the chance to attend this show - I've been, well, ignoring RAW, but I've wanted to see a PPV for an eternity live, and the tickets were pretty good for pretty cheap....

Let me guess how this will play out:
Blah blah, Cena gets beat up by the evil heels, blah blah, Angle sodomizes a puppy, then shoots Tim White (Special Guest Referee) to get the fans to boo him, blah blah, Cena wakes up, hits 5 moves of doom, wins.

ROFL Pretty close. You forgot the part where Angle puts the ankle lock on Rosa Parks' corpse and spits on Richard Pryor's star of fame. And then announces he's been hiding Osama Bin Laden for the past three years.

So we only have 4 matches??
Flair/Edge, Big Show/HHH, Trish/Mickie and the EC.
I'm pretty sure we'll get 1 maybe 2 throw in matches at the last second. Any guess what they'll be?
I'll say Shelton/Murdoch or maybe Daivari/Chioda.

We may also be "treated" to a Jerry Lawler/Gregory Helms match, which will be Lawlers 2nd annual job at New years revolution.
Gee, this is much better than being the Hurricane

When John Cena proves it and defeats every single one of the other five wrestlers, in the Elimination chamber match, you'll see for yourselves that he has the heart and determination of a champion.

Flair/Edge makes me more interested in this one. Yes, Flair will spend most of his time bumping, chopping, and working the knee, but Flair and Edge can have a very good, old school, match.
As for The Elimination Chamber... the one plus is that Kane and Cena have never really squared off. That could be cool. But... the match lacks a wild card factor that I think The Elimination Chamber needs. I mean, once, you had Rob van Dam pulling off crazy spots that nobody in this year's match will or should even try, and you had Goldberg breaking out of his cage one year and that was a "cool, done once," moment. This year, the potential treat is that you've got Michaels and Angle involved and those two can damned well work with each other and with anyone else and you have to hope they get the majority of the attention, but... even with Michaels and Angle involved, there's just not that sense of "what will happen?" this year. Even befrore RVD went all Spider-man and Matrix in that cage, there was a sense that he might well do something crazy. Despite WWE's bad booking of Goldberg, there was a sense that yuo wouldn't want to be locked in an enclosed space with that guy. During Evolution's dying days, there was some cause to wonder what would happen with HHH, Orton and Batista all locked up together. This year... I see some legit talent under the iron, but I don't feel any sense of curiosity of uncertainty. They should have, I think held off on but teased Benjamin/Michaels tension and had Benjamin in there too. Had they done that, I'd be left wondering not only what would happen between Benjamin and Michaels but what sick move Benjamin would pull off, given so many places to climb and leap from.

Kayfabe, anyone? Perhaps if it were someone else, maybe. But this guy seems like he has a few screws loose, and he or she is obsessive over Cena to the point where he couldn't even make a decent argument for the guy. More like a gimmick poster gone terribly wrong.

The elimination chamber match is going to SUCK Replace Kane with Shelton Benjamin and we'd be fine, and continue the HBK/Shelton feud with Shelton attacking HBK after being eliminated. And the tag champs will have to defend their titles. I don't get why Carlito is in there either. No. You leave Kane IN the chamber. He deserves a main event match since he hasn't been in one since...what, WrestleMania XX, even though it wasn't an actual main event. Besides, if anyone should be the one to take the belt from John, it oughtta be Kane. Besides, I'm gonna be GOING to New Year's Revolution. I want to see Kane kick some ass in the main event. Benjamin's heel turn is getting semi-interesting, but right now I just don't care to see him upstaging Kane, who's done everything the company has asked of him and THEN some. Now if you were to have replaced Carlito and Masters with benjamin and say...RVD if he were well enough to wrestle, THAT would be an interesting show then.
