I do wish that Russo's work at the end of 1999 would have been able to continue past Souled Out. We would have likely got the same chaos, but at least it would have had a better midcard.

Among the stupid things I miss about WCW, the whole year 2000 ranks well below the old opening theme and video for WCW Saturday Night. Warning! Oh, memories.....

All they need is Buff Bagwell and David Flair, and they're pretty much good to go. I'm pretty sure both David and Buff work in TNA at one point before...

I miss Kanyon running around, giving random people the Kanyon Cutter.

I liked everything but the random run ins, cluster bleep booking, and Russo interesting himself in storylines.

No, I do not miss it.
Considering how great the show was just 2-3 years earlier, and you see how far the ship as sunk, it's just depressing.

Thread Question = Not while we still have TNA (which at certain times in the past I have watched just for its unintended perverse comedic value). Need I remind anyone of the whole 'Monday Night Massacre' mini-era?

I was going to go with the obvious joke of "No, because we have TNA"...but then I realized that's not fair at all. As bad as TNA can be, it has never been as bad as 1999-2000 WCW. Most of their "old guys" are people that can still work (Angle, Hardy, Jarrett, Sting) and they've never booked anything as ridiculous as Judy Bagwell on a pole. Though the reverse battle royal comes close.

I liked everything but the random run ins, cluster bleep booking, and Russo interesting himself in storylines. So what did you like? I know, there were a few midcard feuds that were relatively entertaining but still...
