Most wrestlers I've heard interviews with usually talk about how great of a guy he is. Let me direct you to a bret hart or shawn michaels interview Both guys freely admit to being dicks themselves, though. It's not like everyone loves Hogan, but many do, particularly if they were never in the position of angling to be put over him or something else that would lead to butting heads. Outside of "creative control" headaches, he is generally spoken well of and said to be friendly.

I would rather they do a Vince McMahon roast, with Hogan as one of the roasters. Also, why was the Charlie Sheen one a disappointment? I thought it was funny. To me it felt like they spent most of the time busting each other, and then taking a minute to praise Charlie. Considering the raw material they had to work with, it felt like they held back a lot. Yeah, it wasn't bad perse, it just felt like more jokes were made at Mike Tyson's expense than Charlie Sheen's. That said, the Michael J. Fox/Spin City joke was the "Oh Snap" joke of the night.

So far, the list of people we'd have at a hypothetical Hogan roast are: Ultimate Warrior Iron Sheik Bret Hart Brother Bruti Shawn Michaels Bobby Heenan Ric Flair Roddy Piper Mr. T
We need to add Steve Austin, Vince Russo & Triple H to this roast.

Without Greg or Patrice, it won't quite feel the same. I think that applies to all future roast. Jeff Ross can't care the show alone.

You obviously didn't watch Hasselhoff's roast. They called him gay, said his daughter was a man, and said everything you mentioned. He didn't have a problem with it then. That's because Hasselhoff didn't have a problem with that. Hogan on the other hand is known for fiercely protecting his public image. I think you misunderstand. What I was mentioning was said towards Hogan himself. They ripped on Hogan mercilessly during that roast.

I would like to add that after Hogan took part in the Hasslehoff roast and made fun of his recent lack of a career, I had images of TNA bringing Hasslehoff in to feud with Hogan, including attacking him backstage and KO'ing him with a toilet seat (this was when Hogan was suing his wife over a toilet seat) with the words "Hire this!" written on it. This needs to happen.

Daniel Tosh should be part of this if it ever happened. He's a legit wrestling fan, does a good Savage impression, and is another Comedy Central regular. That said, a Hogan roast will probably never happen unless it's a WWE produced thing while Hogan is on good terms with the company. Hogan laughed for the cameras at Hasslehoff's roast, but you can kind of tell he didn't want to be there getting ripped on.
