I'm a bit obsessed with it. Level 25 with just Burns' Manor to unlock. And I managed to get there without buying any premium s*** or spamming my town with loads of brown houses. Speaking of Burns' Manor, how exactly do you start the quest to unlock that? I've been doing all the non-story quests that pop up, but nothing comes up regarding that.

After all the Dr. Hibbert quests, there will be one to make Homer work a plant shift. After that, the quest to build the manor unlocks. Interestingly, when I built that, it gave me like, 10 levels worth of the donut bonuses.

I just installed it yesterday and playing right now. Can someone clarify the benefits of adding people? I'm still confused about that.

Extra XP/Money/Limited Time Holiday Quest items. You get to visit "Alternate Springfield" and collect on three things in each Alternate Universe.

It's mostly of value when they're doing holiday things. Like during Christmas you got special coins for clicking on certain buildings on friend's towns, and then you cashed those in for holiday items and, toward the end, donuts for premium items/reindeer.
When it's just vanilla, the tiny bit of XP/money isn't really worth it.

First off, big thank you to everyone that has added me on this game. Thanks to all of you, I got the Choo-Choo-Choose You train a lot faster than I anticipated.
Stu, when adding people tap on the icon that has Milhouse and Bart, then tap the origin icon that appears in the bottom corner once the page loads. Click on the friends tap on the right hand side. From there type in the username in the find friends in Origin box (ex. my username is PrimeTyme9916 go ahead and add me on there:)) It should send me an invite and then it's just a matter of the person accepting it. Hope that helps/works for you.

There should be an icon on your screen that's of Millhouse and Bart. Press that to bring up your friends town screen. THen press the orange O icon in the bottom left. That will bring up a menu where you can add friends. Type their screen names into that.
To accept friend requests, you press the news icon, go to the invites tab, and that will list them.

I don't have the Orange O/Origin button. Do I need to install it?

You shouldn't. THere maybe a training mission or something that you have to get past before you can unlock the friend ability, but it should show up on the friend screen if you have an account.

Givin this a bump as there are two updates, one major to remove the Valentine's stuff and a minor one giving us another episode specific quest and outfit. {Spoiler}The new questline and outfit is for Grampa who becomes 50s wrestling star Gorgeous Grampa

Just downloaded the update. Sad to see there are no new buildings to build/characters to unlock (yet).

Yeah, it's just the Grandpa skin and a billboard for 40 donuts.

I tried playing it but frankly it uses the internet too much and I only have a 2GB data plan (Ive already used a quarter of it and its only been three days, yay updates).

...yeah, not a GREAT update, but they had to do something to get rid of the Valentine's theme.
I'm wondering. When they inevitably release Lenny and Carl, are they going to be 1 character or 2 separate ones?

In a perfect Tapped Out world, they'd finally let you buy donuts with 'game money' instead of using actual money to buy them. I'd love to be able to get some of the buildings/characters that are 100+ donuts, but there's no way I'd pay real money just to be able to have them in my town.
