...see what I did there?
Anyway, I'm excited for this, and I'm sure at least a few of you are as well. Feel free to post your draft results, discuss potential break out players, ect ect ect. Here's how I did with the 11th pick. I'm feeling pretty alright with this squad, and am hoping my natural propensity to cause injury to whoever's on my team(i was both a Jamaal Charles AND an Andre Johnson owner last year) chooses not to show. Side note, I've since dropped Doug Baldwin for Kendall Hunter
1. (11) Matthew Stafford (Det - QB) 2. (14) Chris Johnson (Ten - RB) 3. (35) Greg Jennings (GB - WR) 4. (38) Percy Harvin (Min - WR) 5. (59) Dwayne Bowe (KC - WR) 6. (62) Vernon Davis (SF - TE) 7. (83) Darrius Heyward-Bey (Oak - WR) 8. (86) C.J. Spiller (Buf - RB) 9. (107) David Wilson (NYG - RB) 10. (110) Justin Blackmon (Jac - WR) 11. (131) Ben Tate (Hou - RB) 12. (134) Doug Baldwin (Sea - WR) 13. (155) Ryan Fitzpatrick (Buf - QB) 14. (158) LeGarrette Blount (TB - RB) 15. (179) Detroit (Det - DEF) 16. (182) Matt Bryant (Atl - K)

Kinda conflicted on what to do about my rb situation. Besides Chris Johnson, they're all on the wrong side of time shares. CJ Spiller is a guy I like, but his touches are obviously gonna be limited. David Wilson is a guy I love, but I'm having a hard time justifying giving a rookie a starting spot week one. Any thoughts?

I guess I'd go with CJ only because Wilson is a rookie.

I'm thinking the smart move week one is to go with floor over upside, but ehhh.

If AP can't go Sunday, as I'm thinking he can't, I'm not sure who to start in his spot.

I can't, only WRs and RBs can start in his slot. I'd say Nate Washington. He's the default #1 WR while Britt's serving his suspension.

I went with Nate Washington -- I just have a gut feeling he'll be better then DHB.

I put Davone Bess in there to replace AP. I was just unsure. It cost me 20 points, sadly (also had Marcedes Lewis on the bench, which was pissed about)...but it looks like barring Denarius Moore having a good game, I should pull it out this week against our defending champion in the league. Obviously next week I'm gonna start him (as well as everybody else out there who has him).
Matt Ryan saved my ass and got me 32 points though. And I still have A.J. Green tomorrow night. All and all, a great start to the season.

QB - Cam Newton (CAR) RB - Frank Gore (SF) RB - David Wilson (NYG) WR - Greg Jennings (GB) WR - Nate Burleson (DET) WR - Demaryius Thomas (DEN) TE - Rob Gronkowski (NE) K - David Akers (SF) D/ST - Pittsburgh DB - Darrelle Revis (NYJ) DB - Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (PHI) DL - Justin Tuck (NYG) DL - Osi Umenyiora (NYG)
Bench: QB - Ben Roethlisberger (PIT) RB - James Starks (GB) WR - Rueben Randle (NYG) TE - Coby Fleener (IND) K - Josh Scobee (JAX) D/ST - Atlanta DL - Kyle Moore (BUF)
Basically what killed me last year was not having all my bases covered with backups, which I fixed for this year. I did get third place in my league, though.

I'm winning 93.40 to 86.90 and I still have Ray Rice and Baltimore DEF to play. Thank you C.J. Spiller.

Fitzpatrick somehow managed to get more points than Rivers, which is staggering. It's not time to hit the panic button yet,but if I'm typing this again in 3 to 4 weeks I'm probably SOL or my QB situation is driving me nuts even though my team is winning.
