The reviewer pointed out an anachronism, that i haven't seen anyone else mention. During the scene, where they're planing the hit on Mike's guys, Todd's uncle mentions the killing of Osama Bin Laden. The problem is, it's still 2008 on the show. They only mentioned the fact that the prison-spree would be as hard as killing Bin Laden, they didn't mention the fact it'd been accomplished.

What Would Walter White Do? Very close. What Will Walter White Do? Ah, that makes more sense.

I do want to snidely tell you folks "TOLD YOU SO" regarding Walt's feelings towards Jesse. I just couldn't Walt doing Jesse in after all the dumb shit he's done for him.

I haven't been following this thread so maybe it's been brought up. But when talking to my brother over the last episode he suggested that it might turn out that the G.B. in Walt's book might not be Gale, but instead be {Spoiler}Gretchen Black I don't know about that, but it's an interesting thought. Although it would make the message a very big coincidence. Oops, that's not her name. Never mind then. Ignore me.

This is amazing. It is. I'm surprised this one wasn't made from Walter Pinkman. This is still my favorite Breaking Bad tribute video. Goes from Season 1 - 4

What Bryan Cranston has done, with the character of Walter White, is one of the finest acting performances I've ever scene. It's almost impossible to overstate how great he is in that role.
And the amazing thing is, Aaron Paul has matched him stride for stride.

He's one of the finest young actors Hollywood has to offer right now if not probably the finest. I really find his performance really underrated and the evolution of Jesse Pinkman is almost on par on the evolution of Walter White it's something that doesn't get discussed about as much it should. It still blows my mind that they were going to kill of Jesse Pinkman in the 1st season's finale. That would of been the biggest mistake this show would of ever done. The second biggest mistake, if there was no writers strike and a long first season, they were planning on Walter White doing something disgustingly drastic evil to end the 1st season because they wanted a shocking first season finale dammit.

I just recently discovered Breaking Bad and bought all four seasons in the process. The show has me addicted in every way with the acting, the writing, the characters, and the intensity regarding the life of Walter White. But one thing I am really confused about and maybe people here can explain it better. {Spoiler} The creator of Breaking Bad said his intention is to make Walter White unsympathetic. How exactly is Walt unsympathetic in the show? In all honesty given the circumstances, the problems with his wife, his cancer, and the fact that he's trying to provide financial security for his family before he dies makes him very sympathetic I feel.
I admit I haven't seen any of Season 5 and probably won't given how the second half starts next year, and I don't want to use Netflix to catch up. So I am having a hard time understanding what has he done to be unsympathetic? Given that it's suggested he poisoned Brock at the end of Season 4, which in my opinion, was pretty damn messed up for him to do. But other than that everything he's done has been for his family.

Wait until Season 5. He becomes a real bastard than. Also there are plenty of times when he made enough money to leave like he said in one of the early episodes he estimated he needed 700 hundred grand but wanted to keep on going.

He's pretty sympathetic for most of the series, until around the last half of the 4th season where you see his metamorphosis start to take shape. Then he becomes a real son of a bitch all throughout the 5th season, to the point where most to all sympathy you developed for him before is gone.

Season 4 he goes completely off the deep end but you start to lose sympathy for him in Season 3, at least I did anyway, you can see his ego starting to manifest itself as he manipulates those around him and justifies it as being for the sake of his family when in reality, especially by season 4, it is out of sheer greed and misplaced pride.
But the character arc and development of Walt and Jessie is truly some of the greatest television I have ever seen. I don't know of many shows which create the feeling of tension as well as Breaking Bad does, I've lost count of the amount of times I've been on the edge of my seat watching this show.
I'm still gutted Mike died, I hoped he would disappear then return in the finale to save Jessie in some kind of showdown with Walt.

For me when he let The Bitch from Apt #23/Jesse's soulmate die without trying to save her (because it benefited WW more to allow her to die) that's when I started to lose my sympathy for him. That's also when I started to root for JP's salvation as well after he went through the long grief period and sobered up again.
