It really is sad that A's fans still don't show up even when the team is in a playoff race. Tickets for A's games are dirt cheap so there shouldn't be any reason why they don't draw decent crowds. It's a combination of an old stadium retrofitted for football and an owner who has repeatedly said he's he'll bent on moving the team to San Jose.

It really is sad that the A's have a solid, potential playoff team and struggle to draw 20,000 to a pivotal series with the Angels. But, it all boils down to the crappiness of Oakland Alameda O.co, whatever you want to call it, Coliseum. That place is an absolutely brutal place to watch baseball. If the Giants would just relent and let them relocate to San Jose they'd draw better. A new stadium would work wonders. Baseball rant out of the way, that was awesome. There seems to have been an influx of that in baseball this season (or maybe I'm just noticing it more). Brooks Conrad entered to Stone Cold's music throughout his stint with the Rays this year, and the announcers referred to him as "Stone Cold" Conrad. Johnny Damon has used "Metalingus" at various points throughout his career, including his most recent stint with the Indians. Matt Holliday uses the Big Show's theme. This is kinda related, tonight during the Cardinals' pre-game show they were interviewing James Laurinaitis of the Rams and out of the blue the last question they asked him was why CM Punk is a bad guy now. He just said something like "Punk seems to like being a heel." I dunno why, but the name didn't register with me for a sec, and I was like "What an odd question.", then I made the connection. If he does go to WWE, would be cool to have Ace bring him in as Muscle or something. Or have him team with someone else & make Next Gen Road Warriors with someone else's son.

It's a combination of an old stadium retrofitted for football and an owner who has repeatedly said he's he'll bent on moving the team to San Jose. Also, Oakland. By that logic, teams would be trying to move out of Detroit and D.C. too. But yeah, according to our owner, it wouldn't matter if they sold out every game; to him, the only fans that matter are the ones who buy luxury boxes. And according to him, fans won't buy them in Oakland. I don't believe that. There are several people in Oakland who said they would privately finance a new stadium. Lewis Wolff should sell the team to someone who can get something done in Oakland.

I'd really like to know the backstory to wtf is happening here A's closer Grant Balfour comes out to Metallica, so whenever he enters the game a section of the A's fans start to 'rage' to the music, something they call the Balfour Ragefest.

They just talked about this on Intential Talk on MLB network. Sean Casey is a huge wrestling fan and was talking about Daniel Bryan and Ric Flair and then showed a clip of Chris Rose in TNA being sprayed with a fire extinguisher, which I had never heard about. They actually showed Bryan's WWE accomplishments on the screen, which I was happy about since usually "real" sports shows would just refer to anything WWE with disdain.

Absolutely love that show, missed that episode though. But anyways, as a Red Sox fan it makes me very happen to see that some teams and fans are still having fun out there. Go A's. The fact that that guy has a Lizard/Godzilla/T-Rex mask on is making me cry from joy.

David Arquette should have done a run-in.

I remember Jason Kendall used the New Age Outlaws theme for a number of years during his career.

Adam Dunn used Austin's theme with the Reds and Travis Hafner uses Cena's theme, when he's not on the DL.
