I can't say I'd be upset if he never returned.

Holy s***, I'm not kidding, I seriously didn't notice he hasn't been around until this thread.
He's probably the stalest guy on the roster (and also the most ever-present), so I welcome the break, if only for Show to recharge his batteries, for his character to freshen up, and maybe for creative to brainstorm a decent story for the guy, since he's had so many clunkers (not nearly as many as Kane, but I'm enjoying his business with Bryan as of late, so maybe Show could go through a creative renaissance of his own).
That said, I find that I don't really miss the guy. I can't remember the last interesting feud he's been in, to say nothing of the last time feuding with him ever got anyone over. He's neck-and-neck with Kane for that "stale veteran most often used as #30 in the Rumble because he's a reliable, if unspectacular pop...yet he's a disappointment in that final slot because everyone was praying for one last big surprise, having completely forgotten that said stale veteran had yet to enter the match."

His monster heel character just hasn't clicked with me at all. I can't say I miss him at all at the moment.
If he does come back though as the monster heel I think a feud with Orton could be interesting since I don't think it's been done before. Might motivate Show a bit too to be in a feud with a guy he's never had one with and a guy as good as Randy is.

He comes back on Sunday, knocks out Cena and helps Punk win, joining Heyman's group to try to make Punk even more heel.

I'd laugh forever if Show returned as a fun-loving face once again, and he pretended the past few months of "GRRRR! I HATE FUN! I'M A MONSTER! I HAVE AN IRON-CLAD CONTRACT AND I CAN'T BE STOPPED!" never happened. He'll be a face for a few months.. then do this whole monster gimmick change all over again. Then wrestle Cena.

Put him against Sheamus. I don't care how much you dislike Show, it HAS to be better than the Del Rio feud.
Plus Sheamus looks like less of a bully while he's fighting an unstoppable giant.

I'm not particularly fussed about having him back either.

Big Shows problem is that he only worked if he had something 'goofy' to do. For his size he should have been the all intimidating giant, but he could never pull that off. To work he had to be kinda goofy or made fun of. Then once you make fun of him, there's no point to him.
He's just a dull wrestler who had the fortune to be big. Like a girl with a face like a stomped apple pie who can't see her own feet.
