You forgot Woody Allen. Oh well. We live in such a wonderful world. It kind of makes you wonder if anyone should feel bad about anything. Since it seems like anyone can be forgiven for anything, why not do whatever the hell you want as long as you're sorry about it? I'm not just saying this for Chris but for everyone. This isn't the same thing but some members of my family have done some really awful things yet they are forgiven for it time and time again. Excuses are made, comments like "it's all in the past" are mentioned, etc. When do we ever hold anyone accountable? He was held accountable, he didn't get off Scott free, its the peoples court who say he still needs punishment. And I bet the whole time he was held accountable he was resentful that the world was being "mean" to him. That tattoo really shows how sorry he is. Supposedly he and Rihanna are back together, and if that is true and he has a tattoo like that, her self-esteem must be terribly low. Celebrities are better than us so I guess we have no right to judge.

For the people who put these stickers up: Congratulations, you've done absolutely nothing for anybody. Everyone who is a fan of Chris Brown already knows what he did, and everyone who isn't a fan of him wouldn't be buying his album anyways. All you've done is basically say "look at me, I'm awesome because I'm scorning a publicly-acceptable scorn target."
For Chloe Papas, the "No Stars Ever" reviewer: You're a fan of The Beatles and Fleetwood Mac, both of whom had members who committed domestic abuse (John Lennon and Lindsey Buckingham). Are you ready to denounce them? Of course not; they're not easy targets. It's not cool to dislike their music. Since you don't apply the same moral standards to everyone, your preaching carries no weight. Nobody reads music reviews to learn if the artist is of respectable moral character. Review the album for its merits or find a new line of work.

No, they've raised awareness for people who may not follow celeb news... who may have just heard a song on the radio and liked it without having seen the photos of Rihanna's smashed-up face. It's not safe to assume that the only people who buy albums are fervent internet fans who know what he likes to do to weaker people who anger him. I'd love to see stickers on the albums and movies of all people who beat, rape, and murder. It'd certainly help me make better buying decisions.

Nobody divides the WWE universe like Chris Brown does. After he beat Rihanna, the music industry should have Benoited him out of existence. ;D

Chris Brown's audience is primarily young, pop-culture-aware people, and the Chris Brown/Rihanna thing was huge news when it happens. I understand what you're saying, but the odds of someone buying a Chris Brown album right now without knowing what happened are extremely slim.

I just can't believe he named his album after a forgettable TNA stable.

If it helps the thread along, I've never watched a Roman Polanski or Victor Salva film since finding out their histories.
If it helps, I don't listen to Brown's music so my distaste in him is solely for his actions in a personal situation from three years ago and the repeated anger at those who remind him of his faults. (Nice job punching a wall and making Good Morning America apologize to you for it, Chris.)
If it helps, I have less respect for both John Lennon and his art for his violent actions.
If it helps, I don't like Nicki Minaj because her voice irritates me in large doses.
If it helps, I just wanted to put a post with the words "If it helps" starting every sentence.

The fact of the matter is that he did it and has shown no remorse or no shame in what he did. Period. Point Blank. Until he owns up to it and changes his entire attitude and oh I don't know.....grows the f*** up, he deserves whatever scorn he gets.
All of the hate he gets he brought upon himself. It's not like the Justin Bieber hate where people act like he murdered someone when all he does is sing about girls. This guy beat a women and every time he's asked about it, he acts like a dick and calls them "Haters" and whines like a little baby. People can bitch and moan and complain about other people always talking about it and even find some reason to defend him but the bottom line is that he brought it upon himself.

Hahaha it's funny when people are such pathetic losers they can't get over something that happened three years ago. Probably cause Rihanna's someone famous and not some random unnamed chick.
