Borash: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a ten minute time limit. Stand UpBorash: Introducing first, accompanied by Bobby Roode and Taeler Hendrix, from Houston, Texas, weighing in at two hundred and eighty five pounds, Hernandez! Tenay: Earlier tonight, this match was announced following much prodding from Sting. Diamond: He’s a fool, Michael. He didn’t have enough at Bound For Glory, so tonight he wants to be humiliated some more. Slay MeBorash: And his opponent, from Venice Beach, California, weighing in at two hundred and fifty pounds, Sting! Sadler: Sting is no fool, Simon. He’s a proud man who will not stand for Hernandez’s betrayal. Diamond: Hernandez picked a winning team, Herman. Plain and simple. Hernandez vs. Sting Ten minute time limit

*Sting punches Hernandez, then fires him into the corner. Sting backs up to the opposite corner, Stinger Splash! He shoots Hernandez into the opposite corner, Stinger Splash! Sting pulls him out of the corner and goes for the Scorpion Deathdrop, but Taeler climbs up on the ring apron. With the referee distracted, Roode enters and nails Sting with the Northern Lariat! As he rolls out, Taeler lets the referee go in time to see Hernandez hit the Border Toss! Cover...* ONE!
TWO!
THREE! Borash: The winner of this match, Hernandez! Tenay: Oh come on! Bobby Roode and Hernandez screwed Sting over AGAIN! Diamond: That's what a tag team does, Michael! They isolate their opponent and that's how they win! Sadler: But it was a singles match... Diamond: And your point? Tenay: ...When we return, our main event, Alex Shelley vs. DJ Red. PAPARAZZI PRODUCTIONS
IN ASSOCIATION WITH ALEX SHELLEY FILMS
PRESENTS
THE GOLD STANDARD! Your hero and mine, The Alex Shelley, is backstage. The number one contender to the X-Division Title is seen checking his reflection in a mearny mirror. Without missing a beat, Shelley begins to speak. I told 'em. I told every single one of them. I said I would walk out of Bound For Glory with an X-Division Title shot, and I stand before you now, one match away from asserting my rightful place as King of the X-Division. And after all, why shouldn't I? For the past several weeks, you people have seen the rose of The Alex Shelley and Paparazzi Productions as a whole. You know what I'm capable of inside that ring, even if Management is too blind to see the talent they have.
Even Brian Kendrick recognizes that The Alex Shelley is the best wrestler in the X-Division. And in honor of the greatness that is The Alex Shelley, young Kendrick has been using the Sliced Bread #2 as a finisher. The same move that I use. Young Kendrick realizes that The Alex Shelley is a hero to the X-Division and the entire world of professional wrestling. And if wants to use the Sliced Bread #2, then go ahead sport. I have at least two other ways to beat you, and plenty more moves in my arsenal.
Now, part of being King of the X-Division is defeating all pretenders to the throne. Plenty of young guns are looking to prove that they're top dog in the division, and a King must assert his place at any given moment. Tonight, DJ Red looks to prove his worth and try to take my crown. And to that, I have one thing to say:
Really?
Son, I've proven my worth in the X-Division plenty of times over. Be it with Nash and Paparazzi Productions or solo, I've proven that The Alex Shelley is the uncrowned King. Meanwhile, and no offense, but you teaming with Jeff Hardy is probably the most notable thing you've done aside from getting fired. And I'll admit, you fought like a son of a bitch to get your job back, and I can respect that. But when you come for my crown, when you try to make your name off of The Alex Shelley, we have problems.
Tonight, I want Brian Kendrick to take a close look. Because if you're like the rest of TNA, you've ignored The Alex Shelley until now. And that is the most dangerous thing you've done. Watch what happens to DJ Red tonight, and ask yourself, "Am I ready to defend my title against him?"
I think we both know the answer to that Brian. The Alex Shelley smiles at the camera. Now that business has been taken care of, it's time for personal business. Specifically, championship gold. Now don't get me wrong, I k ow I spoke at length about the X-Division Title. But like I said weeks ago, my eyes are on a bigger prize. A title that has eluded me since I stepped foot in this company: The TNA World Championship.
See, while I'm happy for Joey Ryan, I also can't help but feel like I've been slapped in the face. Joey Ryan has been in TNA for three months. Three measly months and already he's TNA Champion. And you know why? Because HE got the golden opportunities, HE got a chance to show his worth, and HE got a shot at being Number One Contender. You think The Alex Shelley got a chance to show his worth? I was saddled with Abyss and some chick named Goldilocks who called me her "Baby Bear". Nevermind Tharp can wrestle circles around the majority of the roster, no. I was told to shut up and follow orders, that other wrestlers would kill for national exposure. Even at the expense of my dignity.
It's not fair that a man can waltz into this company and win the top title within three months. No matter how to phrase it, it's simply not fair. I have been here for eight long years, and not once have I gotten a chance to prove my wether in the main event.
NO MORE!
I don't give a damn if I have a shot at the X-Division Title. Fact is, Joey Ryan has somethig that I want, and considering I haven't heard much uproar or challenges, let me throw out my own. Robbie E had two title matches in one night, and I'm looking to do the same.
But hey, I'm just Alex Shelley. In the grand scheme of things to those in Management, I don't matter to them. Just another X-Division wrestler, right? Well, they said the same about Eric Young. And look what he did.
If anarchy is needed, so be it. But the downtrodden and forgotten WILL rise up. I am calling you out Joey Ryan, I'm challenging for your title. And if you have the stones, you'll ignore Management and accept my challenge.
The revolution WILL be televised. Courtesy of Paparazzi Productions.Shelley stares into the camera before smiling once again. Shelley makes his way towards the ring as the scene comes to a close. We then cut to DJ Red… Tonight, Alex Shelley gets Remixed.

Alpha MaleBorash: Introducing first, from Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at one hundred and fifty pounds, DJ Red! Tenay: At Bound For Glory, DJ Red was one of the participants in the Ultimate X match. However, he came up short in a hard fought battle. Sadler: But that didn’t stop him from challenging the winner to a match tonight. Six Barrel ShotgunBorash: And his opponent, from the Motor City of Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at two hundred and fifteen pounds, Alex Shelley! Diamond: I have to admit, I like this new Alex Shelley. He’s not just satisfied with his X Division Championship match, he also wants a crack at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship! Sadler: Well before he worries about either title, he should focus on the task at hand, his match with DJ Red. DJ Red vs. Alex Shelley Ten minute time limit

Random thought: It should have been called "The Hunt For Red's October" instead of "The Quest For Gold".

Joey Ryan ThemeThe crowd goes nuts as the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring. Tenay: Listen to that reaction! Sadler: The crowd loves the new Champ! Ryan enters the ring and takes the mic from Jeremy Borash. JOEY RYAN! *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAPCLAPCLAP*
JOEY RYAN! *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAPCLAPCLAP*
JOEY RYAN! *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAPCLAPCLAP*
JOEY RYAN! *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAPCLAPCLAP*Ryan grins before urging the crowd to settle down. Ladies!
And guys too, I guess.
Your Champion has arrived!More cheers. Y’know, I could come out here and speak to you as Joey “Magnum” Ryan and I will, but first, I want to be up front with you. This is Joey Ryan speaking from the heart here.
I am honored, simply floored to be receiving this kind of love from you guys. To have that support at Bound For Glory, it was amazing. And I am honored to be wearing this belt. AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Scott Steiner, Sting, and Kurt Angle are only some of the greats who have worn this belt and I am honored to have my name included on that list.
So I just want to say thank you…Ryan puts on his sunglasses. And get ready for a wild ride with Magnum JR at the wheel! The crowd cheers and begins a “MAGNUM!” chant… MAGNUM! MAGNUM! MAGNUM! MAGNUM!I’ll give credit where it’s due, because at Bound For Glory, Eric Young gave me one hell of a fight. He took me to my physical limit.A smile crosses Ryan’s face. But I still beat him.The crowd cheers. And now TNA is my show an-Justice V2 (What You Know Instrumental)Tenay: Oh come on! This is supposed to be the World Champion’s moment! Eric Young makes his way to the ring, wearing a black trenchcoat over his EY t-shirt and jeans. Eric enters and is handed a mic. He looks at Joey Ryan, not saying a word. JOEY RYAN! *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAPCLAPCLAP*
JOEY RYAN! *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAPCLAPCLAP*Joey Ryan unhooks the TNA World Heavyweight Championship from his waist and holds it in the air. The fans cheer, and a smirk grows on Eric Young's face. Joey Ryan, let's start off with the obvious. You know me, and you know how much that match at Bound for Glory meant to me and my career. We all know that I went all out, 100% for that victory.
I gave that match my all... and yet, oddly, it wasn't enough. And for giving me a real challenge, and showing me an occasion where my best wasn't enough... well, you earned a lot of respect in my book, Ryan. Joey Ryan raises the mic to speak. No. I'm not done. I want to make it clear. I still have no respect for Dixie Carter. None at all for Kurt Angle. I'm still 100% against this company... but I recognize you as somebody on my level. Which means, you and I, we're on a level above everyone else.
You've reached the same level as me...The crowd cheers. ...and I'm not happy about it.The crowd shifts to boos. I pride myself on being the best wrestler in this industry, and I've worked hard to do that. It is not an accomplishment I take likely.
The last man that I could not beat... was Phil Shatter. I fought him time and time again, and wasn't able to score the big victory until Bound for Glory.
I knew you were good, Ryan, but I never imagined you'd be this caliber of an opponent.
I'm telling you now, this will not be the end of us. Me and you will square off again one day. A day that I decide. A day where I know I'll be ready for you.
Joey Ryan, I don't care if you still have that championship. I'm willing to wait until its gone.
I don't care if the fans cheer you or hate you. Their opinion is not important to this.
I only care about avenging this loss. And I will prepare, train, scout, and watch you until I know that I can beat you.
And when that day comes, I will surprise attack you with a Death Valley Driver. And then, when we get an official match, it'll be I who stands victorious.
But from here on out, enjoy your reign. And be sure that I'll be watching it closely. Enjoy your ceremony.Eric Young exits the ring and walks up the ring with his hands in his trenchcoat. He makes his way up the ramp and out of sight, as the camera shifts back to Ryan again. Anytime, any place, EY. Magnum’ll be ready.Ryan straps the belt back around his waist before continuing. Well, it would appear that without EY in the picture, I‘m in the market for a new number one contender. So anyone who wants a go at the Sleaziest World Champion TNA‘s ever seen, all you‘ve got to do is say the word!
But until then, I’ll keep doing what I do. I’ll keep being the Prince of Perversion, the Sultan of Sleaze, the Nocturnal Nightmare!
The future has arrived ladies and gentlemen! I am your new TNA World Heavyweight Champion! I am Joey “Magnum” Ryan! And I’m keeping it sleazy! The crowd erupts as Ryan sets the mic down. JOEY RYAN! *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAPCLAPCLAP*
JOEY RYAN! *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAPCLAPCLAP*
JOEY RYAN! *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAPCLAPCLAP*
JOEY RYAN! *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAPCLAPCLAP*Tenay: It’s the dawning of a new era for TNA, folks! Diamond: We have a new Champion and he will have new challengers to contend with. Sadler: But right now, let’s just let him have his moment… Ryan soaks in the cheers as Impact concludes…

Thanks to Spartan, M, Natural, Mikey, Cageking, Jonathan, SnS, Hayden and Waffel.
Sunday's card will be announced soon. Since only two people made their title aspirations known, I have to improvise.

Alright, I haven't had time to get online until today, so we need to push the show back until maybe Tuesday, weather depending. There's a promo critical to the show that needs to be written first.

Been debating this for a while, and the near future looks pretty bleak in terms of coming up with something and having the time to follow through with it. And if I’m going to go out, I’d rather go out on my terms than be inactive dropped.
I'm dropping Haskins and LVE(as much as it hurts me to do the latter), which will officially remove me as a writer for TNA.
I will continue to keep the archive thread up to date, however, but may need a reminder from time to time.

Sorry to hear that, SNS. Been fun working together on angles like Trish/Lacey/Traci which turned into Rosita vs Traci.
