It's still slipping by a few of you, but if she goes to TNA, she will be Beth Phoenix there. She was Beth Phoenix in SHIMMER and other indies, she has rights to the name. It would depend on what arrangement she has with wwe. She has history on her side. I can't think of anyone who used their indy name in WWE and had to give it up after leaving. Honky Tonk Man was even allowed to keep the name because he used the name "Honky Tonk Wayne" for a time before he came to WWE in 1986.

They probably could have gotten away with using the names if they had stayed in the indies and not signed with TNA. Balls Mahoney still uses that name on the indies but was called "Kahoneys" when he appeared in TNA in 2010.

Now that it's pretty much confirmed, I reiterate that I want her and Nattie to get a Superstars match that goes 10 minutes. Kharma is somewhat of a sad "what if", but Nattie/Beth has been right there for years. I can live without an extended program (WWE wouldn't have had their heart in it) but if they don't get at least one singles match, then what a huge waste that is. I'd make that her goodbye; I'd rather that than another Eve or Layla 2 minute loss which is the inevitable alternative.
I hope she's happy with whatever she does afterwards. I think she'd be a great diva trainer down the line for WWE, or if she has left to wrestle elsewhere, ROH could build their rumoured women's division around her. Again, she will have made a nice bundle in WWE, so she should have some freedom to do what she wishes. Maybe some Glamababies on the way...

This sucks, big time. I think my little interest in the Divas division is pretty much dead now, there isn't anyone else around at the moment I have the same interest in.
At the bare minimum, considering what a star she's been for them, I hope they do SOME damn thing with Beth on the way out. It wouldn't require that much effort, as little as they've been putting into the division these days even.
