I can definitely see your point if you like, ignore everything in the movie and create your own narrative.

Thought it was great, very faithful to the Stephen King short story. It's pretty much just how I visualised it in my head while I was reading it. I thought Mrs Carmody should've been older though. And that ending... damn. Just damn. Although I guess the story ending is worse for the world overall.

Yeah the huge one is strong sure, but the spiders aren't, the little bugs are attracted by lights, the flying reptile things are stupid and the tenacle monster got beat down by automatic door + axe. So no monsters are not strong except big crabby. Plot holes are still huge, characters are one dimensional and stupid and I still hate this film. Way to watch a completely different movie than the rest of us

I watched it a couple of months ago and thought it was cool that it had three actors from The Walking Dead together before the series came about.
Also, Thomas Jane sounds like Bret Hart.
