I guess Rey and Sin Cara look alike ... but then so do most luchas.
And the Edgeheads looked suspiciously like Edge ... hmmmm.

The thing is, if you get together a bunch of young athletic guys (like a football team), a lot of them are going to look alike. You really have to go outside the box to transform some of them into weirdos, and the WWE has done a decent job of that the last few years.

To me, it's not so much that they look the same, it's that most of them have the same kind of personality/gimmick.

Yeah, if you went through the FCW and the WWE roster 5 or so years ago it was worse. Now you can't really make that argument, but back then you had a bunch of guys with short dark hair, tribal tats on the arm, trunks, and clean shaven. If they debuted a new guy, it'd be harder to tell who it was just because there was "a look" for WWE's young wrestlers.
Older guys are obviously exempt because, well, we know them. But the new blood they were trying to bring up had it bad for a while.

It's gotten a lot better lately, I have to admit. Now it's mostly that people are lacking characters. yup, that's why many of us have high hopes about Bray Wyatt and Dean Ambrose
