Clay Matthews just posted Goodell's phone number on facebook... That number wasn't exactly a secret before that account posted it. It was going around Twitter within 20 minutes of the end of the game.

FYI, below is a link to a Super Bowl Nation Packers website. It has instant reactions from Packers fans and should be a fun read through. www.acmepackingcompany.com/

It may just be the conspiracy theorist in me, and I know the backgrounds of a lot of these refs were checked...but isn't it time to look into any gambling backgrounds with these guys again? I mean, seven underdogs won Sunday and now a team that was heavily favored takes a loss on a last second crap call...
Someone's making a crapload of money here. Someone watch out for the refs and/or Goodell hanging out in Vegas.

Goodell has power to overturn the result of the game, but won't because he'd have to admit his shitty replacements screwed up. www.nfl.com/rulebook/unfairacts

Has a commissioner ever done it, because if he has not............I could see why Roger would definately not start now as it could potentially open the floodgates.

When was the last time ANY commissioner has overturned the results of a game? Has that ever happened before in the history of the Big Four?

I've been getting some mileage out of the #ThingsBetterThanReplacementRefs hashtag on Twitter.

The problem is that if you don't use it when it should be used, why have it around in the first place?

The problem is that if you don't use it when it should be used, why have it around in the first place? Just in case it gets used at some point. Think it was sort of a wink wink rule. Like I said, if this had been done before.....it wouldnt be that hard. I think maybe in the case of "we find out that the refs got paid off", they would do it. But you have to think if it is used.........every game would be thrown up by the losing team's fans. People are that crazy to think "why not us?" Hell, that crap would be rampant on the Super Bowl to the point that if they took that game away from the Seahawks, they would be asking for Super Bowl XL to be taken away from the Steelers and given to them.

Yep, if you do it for one game, why not others? It would be opening a can of worms. Every game that had bad officiating in the past, would be open to be overturned. It's why MLB didn't reverse Jim Joyce's call and award Galaraga the perfect game. It's why the NCAA didn't overturn Colorado beating Missouri on 5 downs. Or the Oklahoma Oregon debacle when Oklahoma recovered the onside kick, and the refs said Oregon recovered it. It's all about what would come if you overturned it.

Golden Tate: get f***ed and stop talking forever, at least until your IQ equals your shoe size That's what's REALLY bothering me about this whole situation. The Seahawks are acting like asshats with ZERO integrity. At least acknowledge the FACT that it was a BAD call and you simply got f***ing lucky. Don't stand there and act like you put the effort in to win the game on that play. Don't act like you outplayed the defene. The refs handed you the game on a silver platter and EVERYBODY knows it. Instead of being classy about the situation, Golden Tate, when questioned about his blatant push-off, goes "I don't know what you're talking about" with a straight look on his face. Then, Pete Carrol says it was "a good call" in the post-game conference. Seattle, get f***ed. If that's the mentality you're gonna have, just go and f*** right off.
