He's not been getting the pops he used to, he was even getting booed at NOC, I think a gimmick change would help him, the Jamaican music doesn't really fit him anymore.

Why not put Kofi and Truth up against Cesaro? The big knock against Kofi is the lack of fresh matchups with him, and Cesaro is exactly that. That'd just add on to the problem. Kofi's issue isn't a lack of fresh matchups, its that he hasn't had anyone relevant to feud with in ages. Ziggler isn't over. Swagger isn't over. The Prime Time Players are funny, but they aren't over yet. Primo and Epico are jobbers. Feuding with Cesaro, who also isn't over, wouldn't do anything for either guy.

Not sure that I'd buy Kofi as a full time main eventer, he just seems like too nice of a guy.

I actually think Kofi is ready for a build to become a main eventer. If they gave him 8-12 Months of solid singles booking. He would fit perfectly as a pillar in the main event scene.
Another person who should be at least in the title scene on Smackdown is R-Truth. The man delivered when the product was getting abysmal after Extreme Rules.

But will Orton approve and not be a d***. Is Orton even in a position where he can be a d*** right now?

Because every main event face has to be a clone of The Rock or Chris Jericho and be a "cool" or "witty" insult comic.

If they start now, they can build Kofi up for TLC at the end of the year to take on Punk in a one-off PPV title match before the Rock match at RR. Kofi being real-like friends and road buddies with Punk would be a perfect tie-in - if anyone has seen Punk change in the past year, it would be Kofi. Plus, Kofi in a TLC match against Punk? That just sounds good.
Then again, Daniel Bryan feuding with his mentor in William Regal was another program that wrote itself, but they never thought to pull the trigger on that.

No. Any interest I had in him, I lost like two years ago. His time as a midcarder is done, and he could help the tag division.

But if Kofi gets pushed, who will Windex the glass ceiling? Dolph's got it covered, inbetween getting Brogue Kicked in the face regularly.

Kofi is the one guy they feel okay with putting Dolph over cleanly apparently.
Anyone else it's like "We like Dolph and all but...pinning people come on!"

I can't stand Kofi so I hope this is false. The guy sucks. No personality, awful moveset, sloppy in the ring and he's just... annoying.

Why not at least try him as a heel?

Kofi will be moving up when Dolph moves up. I've said it before so I'm glad it's happening.
Dolph and Kofi are rivals. One moves up the other does too. This will continue for their entire WWE careers. The fact Kofi almost beat Mr. MiTB legit is a good sign for him. As soon as Dolph gets the WHC and hits that level Kofi will be getting ready to go after that belt too. I say give Kofi around 3-4 months after Dolph gets the belt before he challenges Dolph again. He will be building himself up. He truly deserves the push. Let's hope it goes well. With Orton turning heel soon and especially after Punk went heel we need more upper-card faces. Kofi can fill in.

I sure hope you're right. I would love it, if around May or June, Dolph & Kofi battle it out for the WHC, with Kofi winning.

"We will fight again." No s***. Fun fact: Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston have faced each other on TV in singles match TWENTY TIMES since November 2009. If you include triple threat and tag matches, they've faced each other FOURTY SIX TIMES since December 2008, an average of one match per month for nearly four years. This includes seven PPV matches and seventeen title matches. Which is too much,Any time I see those 2 are wrestling I just zone it out cause I have seen them wrestle too many times to care if either one wins or loses.
