Colt is gonna be fine no matter what happens to him. WWE or not, the guy is money. P.S. Cabana, right now, is better than he's ever been. His match where he won the belt from Pearce this year is a match of the year contender. You know that guy that Pearce shoves out of his way after his suicide dive? Hi, chazraps. How ya doin?

I like Cabana..he has it all..almost. He just doesn't look like a threat. Punk had the same problem too for a long time..just hit a gym and get in great shape. It's been done before, there's not really an excuse. You don't need to have a John Cena body to be over, but I don't think WWE really wants to push guys who don't really look like they give a damn. Unless you're somebody like Jeff Hardy where the audience is so much behind you that not pushing the guy is unavoidable I would think you'd have to take your workout seriously. Colt has size for sure, but he doesn't really give off that wrestler vibe, comedy character or not. And before anybody else says it, they already have a Mankind in WWE, his name is Santino Marella, he's a comedic wrestler and appears to also be exempt from having a physique.

Is it possible Colt has other prospects than WWE? Maybe his standup career is about to take off? Or any other endeavor he is passionate and talented in? I dont think WWE could ever properly use him, and frankly I think he does well enough off his current means, that he won't go take a bad opportunity just because its offered to him. I do really appreciate the name he's made for himself and how he seems to be out there proving you don't need the WWE to succeed in wrestling. WWE's supposed to be the pinnacle for a well trained, high caliber wrestler that Cabana is and he(as well as El Generico) should just be a no brainer that he belongs in the WWE for a long time. At the same time they had a chance and they threw it in the garbage. Not that I'm saying that Cabana's the next Steve Austin and would take WWE to the next Attitude era, but there's no reason to think he can't be on the same level as Daniel Bryan right now. Not that WWE's the only organization making that mistake, I don't know why TNA isn't chomping at the bit for him, I don't know why ROH hasn't found a spot for him. I just don't get it.

Colt turned down a contract with ROH because it would have limited his indy bookings and outside ventures, and almost certainly the same would be true if TNA came calling.

Even more, in TNA's case. TNA won't even let people work indie shows which have video cameras present anymore.

I don't think it's so much as Santino doesn't have a physique as he just has horribly unflattering ring gear. I don't know if the cheesy singlet is supposed to be part if his character, but at Elimination Chamber where he was the most serious he's ever been and wore the knee-length singlet (which is on his WWE character page) he looked a lot more impressive than he does in what he's been wearing for the past however many.

I bolded that part, because everything you just said is a complete contradiction of this part.

I bolded that part, because everything you just said is a complete contradiction of this part. You don't need a John Cena body to be over, but nobody said he would get over or that he is, at least not to the vast majority of the WWE audience..he's built but I wouldn't say he was in "great shape" at least not compared to the average guy who populates WWE. What I'm saying, which obviously I am no authority on, is that WWE seems to cater to body-guys and I don't mean overly jacked people, just convincing athletes. Everything else with Colt is perfect, but he just comes off as sorta lazy in that department and never stood out to me as a legit threat which I think is the whole point of being essentially a fake fighter..am I right?
