I think it's kinda obvious he sandbagged him. Even on SmackDown! it looked like Ryback forced the guy up as opposed to Tensai jumping with the move making the setup easier. Notice him how he just ragdolls himself when Ryback tries to dip him down and then up on all three attempts. If he had bent his knees and sprung up like he's supposed to I don't think it would have botched like it did. Maybe he's pissed he isn't getting the monster push anymore..Ryback is pretty damn sloppy as it is, I'd be pissed too. Albert has like almost fifteen years of seniority on the guy. But on that note, you'd think as the older guy getting the match over should be the most important thing should it not??

I'd say he's a combination of both really..he's certainly big but he doesn't have that overly puffy look of guys like say Batista, another guy who had trouble powerbombing Booker T..Goldberg is a good example of somebody with more of a strength-trainer body. I don't know John Cena's routine, but I'm sure it isn't all about high reps. Exactly. Guys like Cena or Claudio train for strength not size. The Rybacks and Batistas train for glamor muscles

For one it was a show couch and could've been hollow on the inside. It wasn't a big couch and I'm sure no bodybuilder would have trouble lifting one

Exactly. Cena is a cyborg. He should not be involved in this conversation. Brock or Mark Henry either. Add Ezekiel Jackson to that list as wll. Even though he ain't got no cuts, he's a beast in the strength department. Yes, him too. But in my defense, I forgot he existed.

This is ridiculous. They're not going to pull the plug on his program just because of that. If I'm wrong, the next 2-3 weeks will show it and I'll apologize. I bet I'm not. This is the TV program they're going with in Cena's absence of being able to do anything physically until the PPV.

The only thing that really bothers me about this whole thing whether it was a botch or shenanigans is Ryback yelling "STUPID" to Tensai..who the hell is this guy? Who taught him wrestling etiquette? As far as I can tell he's way behind the pecking order of respect, Albert is a veteran of fifteen plus years. Kinda made me not like the guy just for the disrespect, could care less about the botch. doesn't he always call his opponent stupid at some point in the match. usually though it's when they're trying to go on the offensive against him. but yeah Ryback yelling stupid is pretty common in his matches from what i've seen.

Guys with a strongman gimmick most look strong at all times. I don't get the big-man excuse. Cena got Big Show and Edge up, Ryback should be able to lift Tensai. It's over. Next. He hit it a few days ago. Something was up. That was on smackdown though. and could have been edited?

It was a real couch, it took effort in getting it up, you could tell. Watch him lift it again. Watch how he swung the coach up over his head, it had 0 resistance. I dOnt care how strong you are if that was an actual couch, physics wouldn't let it be swung up that easily without some struggle

Hell, even it it wasn't a show couch, you have basic football players who could probably hulk up a couch. They aren't exactly a quarter ton; I doubt the average one's even 150.

The couch to me is more of a balance thing than anything else. I've gotten a couch up on my shoulder before, obviously the catch was that it was a bit off the ground, but still I'm no Ryback.
I did hurt myself, though. LOL. I'm actually surprised he didn't hurt himself with Tensai, that would have been the worst possible outcome, he tears his hamstring or his knee blows or something.

I dunno what happened there... he's picked Tensai up before and lifted two guys plenty of times who I guess must come close to Tensai's weight. Dunno if Ryback was just lifting him wrong, Tensai wasn't readsy to be lifted ot what...
Still, he's made one botch since his return.
