So, did he over-rotate on a reverse 450 or under-rotate for a double moonsault?

Just sick. The sad part of this is that he'll probably be back wrestling as soon as he can and still do that dumb stuff.

Just another reason why indy guys shouldn't attempt these moves. Didn't Spyral BKNY get paralyzed recently too? He was notoriously one of the most dangerous risk-taking indy guys, and it's a miracle he didn't paralyze someone else by doing that reverse top-rop styles clash flip he would do on people (against their will).

Ever since the Mass Transit incident, I no longer actively go out and seek proof something was bad.
Just READING about it alone makes me cringe.

Very cringe-worthy. Dude's lucky to be alive. BUT, I had to laugh at this comment. "That Guy Stole Hayabusa's Finisher" I laughed too, even though I felt REALLY bad about it.

Good lord. Filing this with the Hayabusa incident in the category of videos I'll never watch a second time. Glad to hear the guy's recovering. Things could have been much, much worse. Same. I guess I am squeamish, after all. I did NOT need to see that.

Glad I didn't click the link. I just read all the comments here comparing it to hayabusa. No thanks. Don't feel like buying a new laptop after I vomit all over it.

How is this dude not dead? Luck. And it's a shame that Black Barron and Charade's first big break on the indy scene will be only remembered by the latter's near fatal top rope dive.

Just watched it and am never going to be able to watch that again. Just wicked disturbing. Glad the guy didn't die. What exactly were the extent of his injuries? I tried the link posted in the video description, but it doesn't say exactly. Fractured the base of his skull. Check out his twitter, he seems fine and happy in his neck brace I would argue that no one is "fine and happy" with a fractured skull. Lucky it wasn't even worse than it turned out to be, sure. But not fine.

Tosh.0 opened with this tonight and damn, it looks worse on TV and in slo-mo. This was my first time seeing it, caught it by accident after "Colbert" ended. Glad to hear he's going to be alright. I hope I never see the clip or anything similar to it again.

Ouch. He's lucky he's not paralyzed or dead......As for the cover, I see it as the guy saw he was injured and wanted to end the match. Better than say leaving Paul Orndorff laying on the mat while the match continues for several minutes.

Bingo-this is perhaps what I dislike the most about the current state of wrestling. Because there are no/few regional promotions where you can actually make any money while learning your craft(and quickly weed out guys who who clearly cant make it), anybody who wants to be a wrestler and can do a few acrobatic maneuvers gets a spot in one of these local indy shows. They feel like the only way to get noticed is by doing these crazy spots.
Further, these guys were not that good from my point of view. I know someone here called it a great match up to that point, but I must disagree. By late in the match, they were slow and a bit sloppy. They lost the crowd(not that they ever really had them very much) at about the 8 minute mark. It was pretty dead in that building before the incident.
The point being that in the old territory days, these guys would either be learning the craft by working as jobbers to bigger names, or wouldnt be in the biz at all. They wouldn't be asked to do life threatening moves, but they would be asked to create a match with a real story, and sharp, crisp work. Unfortunate, and I hope this guys does ok

Stupid thing to do on such a small show. Absolutely no need. Hope the lad is OK, maybe he will learn to work properly and safely after this.
