Gotta admit Dave looked incredible..far more imposing than he did when he was in WWE, in my opinion. I don't think he has much of a future in MMA though, the guy (Dave) looked legit scared for the first minute or so and was getting pummeled.

i'll give Dave credit for fighting a guy with over 40 fights experiece. Im more impressed with a guy in his first MMA fight with only a couple years of training fighting a season vet with a 20-22 recrod than some kid in his first fight with only a couple years of training(Like Herchel Walker did in his fights)

The guy tonight was a replacement opponent as his original opponent, Rashid "No not that one" Evans, pulled out late last week because of injury.

So, how long before Angle makes another claim that he can make it in MMA?

So how long until Batista starts tweeting about his "haters" after this win? Right now '#TKO first round in my #mma debut thanks for all the support. Dream come true! #brassbody #ironfists #sorryhaters ! '

I've give Batista credit for actually getting in the cage but he is going to get seriously humiliated if he ever takes on someone who isn't a tomato can.

Congratulations, Dave, you beat the Pillsbury Doughboy, with a losing record, no less. Way to go. Nice to see you going after the big fish early.

I love Ba(u)tista, but you can't brag about beating up a guy with D cups

My opinion of Dave Ba(u)tista, MMA fighter, is lower than my opinion of Batista, WWE Superstar -- and he's one of my all-time least faves, BUT ...
To Dave and to his much-maligned opponent, nothing but respect. Anyone -- ANYONE -- who steps into that arena and takes the risks associated with MMA has more courage and fortitude than all of us who sit safely outside and criticize them.
That guy had more than 40 fights. If he's batting .500, that means he has probably taken some pretty serious beatings and kept coming back. I don't care if he looks like Baby Huey, he's still in there willing to take it and dishing it out to the best of his ability.
Dave, with no prior experience, stepped in there with a professional and risked the humiliation that could have come with getting knocked the eff out or being forced to tap. He didn't have to do it -- he chose to do it.
Good for Dave and for his opponent. Props.

amazing how Bautista was getting bullied early on by Tubby McLardo. Then he scores a takedown and TKO when fatty gets tired. Then he goes full douchetista.

Something seems a bit disproportionate here.
