After 3 and the cartoons, there is nothing they can do to hurt Robocop's legacy that those two failed to do. Not to mention the...what...5 or 6 movies since 3? It's not like Robocop hasn't been around. Check Netflix and you'll find a load of Robocop movies back in the 2000s.

Eh...I haven't seen the final product yet, but Peter Weller had that distinctive jaw that set him apart in the original. This new guy doesn't really look like he has that.

WHEN THE HELL WERE THESE A THING SciFi produced a Robocop mini series in the early 2000s. I would honestly check them out if you haven't already and develop you're own opinion. Me personally I really enjoyed them. They got a little odd at times and the smaller budget is noticeable. Though despite all that the story is solid as well as the characters. The actor for Murphy, while not as iconic as Weller, was still a good choice. Really recommend watching them. I think there are 4 of them. Sent from my SCH-I800 using ProBoards

They aren't bad for what they are, I suppose. Just seems like hardly anyone knows that Robocop didn't exactly die out as a franchise, so a Reboot isn't anything groundbreaking.

Wasn't there a late 90's series that was absolutely dreadful?

A redone look could be okay if it doesn't throw away too much of the original. Him not walking like he has a lead pipe up his ass would be welcome.
