Oh dear, this could take me a while to decide.
Phoenix, Edgey, Gumshoe, Manfred, Engarde, Dahlia, Godot are all top tier for me.
Edit: Tentatively going with Dahlia, because she's one the few villains that I love to hate and wanted to bring down so hard. I remember staying up until 8 AM glued to my DS because of her.

As a die hard fan of the series it would be easier for me to just make a short list of characters I didn't like..
And here they are in alphabetical order:
Curls, Larry Moe.

His jokes were so bad that he endeared to me for some reason, though I think we all ate whip at one point during that cross examination. |

That, and the A-Team reference was awesome. I'm so glad the translators had a sense of humor when they adapted the game to English. |

Your timing is impeccable, Disco Stu. Just as I'm finally starting the series again! But damn if it isn't a tough choice. All of them that Screwberry mentioned are top contenders for me too, along with the Fey family (Morgan too) and Shelly de Killer (who I used as a profile for a while). The only characters I really actively don't care for in the series come from that case, and I can't even say it's strong enough to be called "dislike" for most of them. Also, obligatory:  |

REALLY hard for me to pick, especially since a lot of the prosecutors are great. I think the top tier for me would be Phoenix, Edgeworth, the Feys, the von Karmas, Gumshoe, Godot, the Judge, and that bitch Dahlia. Overall I think I have to go with Franziska. I like it when a chick knows how to use a whip.  |

I always find it hard to pick a favourite anything, so for a series with so many awesome characters this is pretty much impossible for me. I'm gonna go with Edgeworth just for the fact that I liked the character enough to dress as him for Halloween one year. {Spoiler}  |
