The Boogeyman is (contrary to my original opinions) actually over with the live crowd, probably because he did something at the expense of Lita, everyone's favourite North Carolinian whore.

Is it an Indianapolis thing or is the Boogeyman actually getting over?

I went, and Boogeymans pop was about as big as Funaki's which was substantial but not as in like they are a big superstar

The pop was more laughter than cheering, but like laughing and lita getting scared by the boogeyman, not just laughing at the gimmick like you would expect.

I actually been liing the character, it's completely over the top. They need to keep it like that- breath of fresh air since every other Debutee's gimmick has been "I'm Arrogant and Pretty And Cool".

The thing i like about the boogeyman. Is the way he was introduced. For the grief the writers get and sure some of it is deserved...but they didn't insult our intelligence with the boogeyman.

They could have easily went the "let us entertain you" excuse and had boogeyman come in with this shroud of mystery and be like a shango type 80's gimmick...instead they used a rather cleaver, look this guy is a bit of a wackoo....we have him signed to a deal. See if you can find something for him to do backstage. Thanks.

I think the Boogeyman's awesome, and the reason is simple -- he's not supposed to be taken seriously. He's *supposed* to be laughed at. Like last week on SmackDown after Boogeyman scared the crap out of Bischoff, Tazz just laughed and said "That's our Boogeyman! Happy Halloween!" Plus the way Boogeyman was drooling/vomiting for like a minute straight was AWESOME!

I didn't like Lita for a long time, but with Edge as a heel, I actually do.

BoogeyMan is pretty funny and I like the character, but I've heard that he's total crap in the ring.

That was really great. I've said it before, and I think I'll say it again. Boogeyman is 2005's Eugene. Everyone thought he would be Wrestlecrap, but he turned out pretty cool.
