YES!
OK, so is there anyone we can seriously look at and cast suspicion on yet?

The belt was created in February 15, 1989, and losing it to Virgil wouldn't happen until August 26, 1991. So in this world, the belt doesn't even exist yet. I never said I made one yet

Let me ask this: Out of all the people listed, who seems like they would be Mafia?
I understand that might be dangerous, as we're not sure who would be Mafia and who wouldn't. But it could stimulate discussion, which is always good in Day One.
Plus, who knows? We might stumble onto something we haven't thought of.

If I had to guess based on character we're looking at a mafia of...
1 rocker, probably Shawn (goon) Jake (probably a poisoner) Andre (hitman) Ted D (Godfather)

Just looking at it logically. Snake venom makes sense for a poisoner. I'm betting that Marty and Shawn are obviously connected in some way so a town/maf split there. Andre was booked as an indestructible force so him being a hitman/hired gun for a godfather in DiBiase makes sense. I also think Slick may be a priest, which kinda makes sense and Duggan is vanilla with no role, he's the guy that doesn't really fit in. HTM is interesting too, possible 3rd party? Might also be a connection between the Mega Powers.

By trying to figure out who our doctor, cop, etc., is you're giving Mafia something to look for which is never good.

Ebwop: forgot to mention that the only good out of your list is possibly finding the poisoner, IF there is one. I'm sure we'll find out on night 1

Except it's 1988 and Shawn and Marty are still together.
I don't see them being on opposite sides.

I don't buy there being a poisoner in a game this small. It's possible, but I wouldn't hedge my bets on it. That seems like too powerful a role for a small game like this. I'm thinking that we'll be dealing mostly with the more familiar roles: your doctors, roleblockers, cops, and the like. There's could be a surprise or two as well since the last game had a Double Voter, but I don't think we'll be seeing anything too exotic.
Right now we really shouldn't be worried so much about what roles are in the game; our focus at this point should be trying to find a lead and pressing whatever information we can out of them.
I don't buy our suspects being too obvious either. I'm sure at least one of our heel characters is on the Mafia side, perhaps two, but it would be too easy to fill out the ranks entirely with those types. As someone mentioned John Cena was the Mafia Godfather in one of these WWE Mafia games. I don't think that means Hogan, for example, will be in the same role, but it's not out of the question.
Antihero, what are your thoughts on everything thus far? Getting any vibes from someone?

Now this is just a theory I'm throwing out here. But, what about Hacksaw? He wouldn't be the mist obvious mafia, however he could be one who has a big chip on his shoulder. He never wins anything, then he goes out and wins the Rumble. But what has come out of that? Nothing, no tilte shots or anything. You would think thdy would give the winner of the Royal Rumble a WWF Title Shot.

Ahahahahahahaha!
Me, a mafia godfather? Please! How much would it cost for you to change your mind? Honestly, if you are looking for a mafia member, find someone with a different motive other than money!

First day lynches are always hard, but I always agree that we should do one. Our power lies with the vote.

There's definitely not a poisoner. It would be overkill for the Mafia, and it would be unfair to have two kills in the night compared to just one for the town with the lynch.
Here's my thoughts on everything right now:
- I don't think of Andre or Hogan as Mafia at the moment.
- Ted DiBiase definitely seems like the type of person who'd be Mafia, but that seems a little too obvious.
- The only person right now that I'm raising eyebrows at is Produceman. He seems to be trying too hard to get things stirred up to distract us.
