he DID fight it for years, with all the allegations, but eventually got so tired of it he literally gave up! I find it hard to believe that an innocent person would give up and let them take away all of his accomplishments. All he's done by throwing in the towel is make it seem that he finally cracked under the weight of his lies. I don't feel bad for him in the slightest. Nobody has beaten the UCI yet even with great defenses. It is borderline impossible. Even if I was completely clean, I'd just take the loss. Look, he was guilty as is pretty much very cyclist from the last 15+ years. The whole peloton was on stuff and most believe they still are now. Almost every TDF winner has been accused of or guilty of doping since 1991 except three. The people who look the worst coming out of this is the UCI as they still refuse to admit their faults.

It's ridiculous how everybody is slamming Armstrong when Cycling is the dirtiest sport in the world. It makes MLB and WWE seem like boy scouts. It's also ridiculous to "change" history when nobody will actually view it that way. Lance Armstrong won races against other athletes that doped as well. Not only does that make him the rightful winner of those races, it also makes him King Steroid. All the juice in the world doesn't make somebody a winner. They have to actually have the ability to tap into.

They have to actually have the ability to tap into. Most of the sites reporting have no business reporting on cycling. I highly doubt they could even name a cyclist not named Lance Armstrong. Other sports are very dirty as well but most people still have their blinders on. Tennis is the worst as nobody can possibly play at a high level after 8 hrs clean but yet I've seen Djokovic do it. The NFL and NBA are also bad. As someone online showed if you assigned winners to TDF's based on a clean history you would have to go as far back to 11th place for the one year and 9th to another. There are few who are completely clean and those ones will still have doubt placed on them.

Tons of witnesses, including many members of his team and his (former) best friend, along with investigations, is a lot more than just hearsay. Armstrong practically admitted his own guilt, too. Unless this is the most coordinated conspiracy to defame an athlete in the history of sports, I find it highly unlikely that he's innocent. Basically, yeah. There's a reason they haven't lost a case, and it's not because they pay off everyone. They don't bring a case unless they have a large amount of evidence. They have a ton of witnesses saying it, just because there's not a security camera showing him with an IV in his arm doesn't mean there's no evidence of it. And no one ever cared about the Tour de France EVER AGAIN. Bingo! I never got why people cared so much about grown men riding bikes. Why do people care about grown men throwing a ball and running into each other? Why do people care about grown men throwing a ball into a hoop? Why do people care about grown men swinging stick at balls? You can do the same thing for any sport.

Yawn. Hasnt this gone away yet? If he didn't do it, he's a fool for not fighting, if he did do it, he's an idiot full stop. What more is there to say? Agreed on all counts.
