Maybe they might let him wrestle more than when he was Hassan's lackey.

pffft...forget that...if he stays as a heel ref..he'll probably be better off

He's not big enough for the WWE, and doesn't have the presence/mic ability of Hassan. As long as he's with Angle, he'll have a prominent role, but ultimately, he's looking at JTTS status.

I'm waiting to see if they can make sense of this one: Daivari/Angle might be the most force connection I can remember in a long time, not to mention he has literally NO beef with Cena. So yeah, we'll see, but am glad to see him back, even if it is Hassanless.

he just seems out of place next to Angle, and without Hassan. Similar to Goldust and vaer last week, it's just like "where did they come from?" i can't see him having any real purpose

Reason why I can see them pairing Daivari with Angle is that when Angle/Cena fight again in a singles match, Cena won't get booed that much since the fans hate Daivari.
Smart move on the WWE to make the fans cheer for Cena.

Ummm correct me if I'm wrong... but aren't people already cheering Cena and booing Kurt?

Ummm correct me if I'm wrong... but aren't people already cheering Cena and booing Kurt? There's been a gradual turn...Cena's been losing a little steam due to being shoved down our throats with his invincibility, while Angle has been portrayed as a very credible challenger... ...plus, the crowds were starting to cheer Angle just before the feud started. That feud with Eugene killed any heel heat Angle had.

Yeah...but the turn isn't to the point where as they would need to bring someone in to help Cena out.

Daivari might not have been brought in specifically for that reason, but he almost certainly will help keep the fans from chanting "Lets Go Angle" at Survivor Series.

It was funny I was fantasy booking the Royal Rumble the other day , and I needed one more guy from Raw. So I had Daivari make a return out of no where at the Rumble. Funny to see him return to Raw two days later. Welcome back Daivari.

Isn't Daivari supposedly Smackdown property after the draft?

Well, he was Hassan's manager, and if Hassan's gone, wouldn't that make him a clientless manager and a free agent? I hadn't seen any reports since yesterday night, so I had no idea he woul dbe there. On a side note, since it occurred during the match wit him in it, Styles line "how the hell can you see anything, you announce wearing sunglasses?"

Isn't Daivari supposedly Smackdown property after the draft? Teddy Long fired them after the Great American Bash, on WWE.com.

Junior WWE writer: So by the crowd are going we should make Cena the heel in cocky way. And Angle a face trying to get the belt from the unstoppable Cena.
Senior WWE writer: You have no idea stupid. What we do is we align Angle with someone everybody hates.
JWW: But we did that Bischoff with little success and Tomko with Zero success.
SWW: OK get one of the Arabs that should work.

A Hassan return is in the works. He will return at Survivor Series turning on Daivari or screwing Raw or Smackdown
