I was just thinking to myself earlier today how Kenny King hasn't been on Impact in quite some time (I think the last time was either when he tagged with Aries against Ion/Roode or when he lost the title match to Ion). For the Hell of it, I checked out the roster page on TNA's site and he's not listed while people like the Gut Check winners (none of whom have been seen again since winning a "contract") and even Ric Flair are. If he burned his bridge with ROH, where he was a champion at the time, to work 1 month in TNA, he must be a complete moron. So does anybody know what the deal is if Kenny King is a part of TNA or not?

Just because he's on on TV every single week doesn't mean he's not on contract. TNA is weird with their TV deals and per-appearance deals.

Don't think he is, I think it was just like the Dakota Darsow, Scorpio Skye, BLK JEEZ, and Jigsaw things where they were brought in for the X Division PPV and a brief use after that to make people think TNA gave a damn much like they did in 2011. He just proved himself to be one of the bigger idiots in wrestling though his ROH exit that was pretty much confirmed for me. Maybe with Cornette gone from ROH, he can beg his way back in there.

PWinsider had him signed in August.

Man, if that guy left a steady gig in ROH(It's probably not great money, but at least it's regular work) without having his name on a contract SOMEWHERE with TNA, he's the biggest idiot in the business.

PWinsider had him signed in August. But the thing that gets me is that RIC FLAIR is still on the roster page and he isn't. And you can't say that it's not updated often enough as the Gut Check winners and Joey Ryan, who just "won" a contract at BFG, all are listed and have pages.

Maybe he's injured or something.

PWinsider had him signed in August. They corrected that within a day or so that he hadn't been signed to a long term deal, just a short one while they worked on a long term deal.

OFF bitching like usual. What would Kenny King do right now anyways? Jack shit and you guys would be complaining how they arent using him right. There is no pleasing the deadset TNA haters who still watch every week despite how much they hate the product.

People are just discussing that King isn't on TV right now, which is true. No need for the hostility.

He went on vacations for a while, then recently tweeted, in answer to :
Me Myself and ION @zematna Who's even left in the X-Division? Maybe I'll just do interpretive dancing in the ring at Bound For Glory since I have no more challengers.
Kenny King @kennykingpinanx @zematna hi sweetheart. I'll be home soon.Daddy's got a big surprise for his favorite girl.

Ion, while playing his role well, wasn't really getting a decent push as X-champ. So taking the belt off him, putting on (whether you like him or not) RVD, to legitimize the title, then making a big deal when Ion wins it back, so that you can THEN run a feud between Ion and King, would actually be a really good long term approach to the X-division.
And it's entirely possible that this is TNA's plan - keep King off air until his challenge for the title seems like a bigger deal, use Van Dam to build up Ion, so that King's eventual victory seems important.

If you put the title back on Ion, it isn't going on King after. The only reason to put the title back on that sack of fail if Sorrenson gets cleared to return.

Cornette likes him and King put over Cornette a lot in the ANX shoot

Maybe he's in OVW with the Gut Check guys? He is a Chippendale dancer in Vegas so I doubt he's quit that and moved.

You know, if they're actually planning to have King Mo wrestle, I'd have no problem at all with them putting Mo with Kenny as a tag team. "The Kings of TNA" or even "The Kings of Tag" could be a team to dethrone Mex Lax, and then get into an awesome feud with Kaz/Daniels.

King Mo needs to pay his dues before he works with The Legendary Chavo Guerrero.
