Late 2004-2007 were such bizarre years.

Wasn't one of the reasons for Richards release that chairshot to JBL? Think about the time between Stevie getting fired and ECW starting back up. Well over a year between them. I'm going to say no. Where did you get that rumor?

Weird to think that the Blue Meanie has two different WWE Stints.
I'm sure tough guy Bradshaw had a run in then and saw fit to take it to him.
I think he's turned a new leaf as far as how he treats people, but god he used to be a cock

There was a good two year gap between the two lol Stevie even received quite a push in the early days of WWE's ECW. I thought they might even give him a brief title run but that push ended as abruptly as it started.

For the record, Meanie and JBL made up a long time back.

I really do miss the days when the DDT was treated like freakin' death. I think the DDT was the finisher of about 3/4ths of the original ECW roster. It's amazing how wrestlers have evolved to the point that a once-deadly finisher is now basically no-sold. Modern training methods?

They also faced the Mexicools at the Great American Bash.

Danny Doring says in his shoot that Meanie started talking again about the heat JBL and he had leading up to ONS and Hardcore Homecoming and was using it to help get himself over. He was also egging JBL on before the brawl, and JBL had legit been drinking during the whole show so he was buzzing and Meanie just continued to rile him up.
And the chair shot by Stevie won him a lot of respect for standing up for his friend. Stevie even said that the move may have been career suicide but he wouldn't be able to forgive himself if he didn't help out his friend.

I think he's turned a new leaf as far as how he treats people, but god he used to be a cock I think he lost face after Joey Styles of all people gave him a black eye. He hasn't been the resident bully since then.

Was sort of a strange time, as both Nova and Simon Dean were in the company at that time. I am still sad that they didn't have Nova feud with himself

I remember when Vince and Bobby Lashley were feuding over the ECW Title and Vince said his opponent for Extreme Rules was going to be Blue Meanie. Was that just a joke or was anything supposed to have come about from that?

Was that just a joke or was anything supposed to have come about from that? It would have been amazing in fact Meanie did and won the ECW belt from Lashley(Sorry big Meanie mark here if you can't tell)
