Who actually writes Raw these days? Is it ex wrestlers or "TV writers" or a combo of both? TV writers who aren't wrestling fans, TV writers who are wrestling fans, Michael Hayes and most importantly, Vince.

Would have been awesome.
It's hilarious that Storm came up with something like that in 30 seconds and the WWE writers can't come up with anything very good over the span of a week.

He may have people suggest stuff but he decides what happens and what doesn't.

Who actually writes Raw these days? Is it ex wrestlers or "TV writers" or a combo of both? At the end of the day, it sadly doesn't matter. WWE's problem is how they structure their shows, and how Vince and Steph won't alter or change such a tired, stale, and quite frankly broken formula no matter what, because they seem to want their product to be something it's not, and something no fan truly views it as anyway. If the thought is, "How do we get a bit of wrestling into this ENTERTAINMENT~!" then they think ass-backwards.

"Tag Team Title Match: (I refuse to type their silly team names)" LOL, Lance is still living that 'If I can be serious for a minute' gimmick

They did have the Cell show up on Raw for final build up to Cena vs. Orton at HIAC 2009, though. That was 3 years ago and wasn't the same scenario

Surprised to see so many people loving his proposal for end of RAW. I figure whatever happens Punk/Ryback will have a screwy finish with Punk keeping the belt, at least with what happened on RAW it shows Ryback is more then capable of handing Punk his ass so it would appear he was robbed when he doesn't win the belt. Had what Lance proposed gone down I can't help but wonder whether people would doubt whether Ryback was good enough to beat Punk. I just see it being more damaging to Ryback to go with Lances proposal, but of course my assumption could be wrong and Ryback could walk out of HIAC with the belt.

I don't understand, how would Lance's proposal be damaging to Ryback at all? Unless I'm forgetting something this was really the first time Ryback got his hands on Punk in a big way right? I feel that was necessary to negate any ideas of Ryback not being able to beat Punk. I just feel Ryback would lose more momentum from Lances idea then what the WWE did if he loses at HIAC, damaging was probably the wrong word for me to use. Though I guess it really depends on HOW Punk worms his way into keeping the belt.

You're right, it depends on the finish and follow up of it. WWE knows their finish and they're working towards that, while Lance is just thinking about exciting TV and protecting Punk. Just two different approaches.

Why isn't lance storm a booker for one of the big two companies? Heck any company?
All his "fantasy" bookings are fantastically awesome

All his "fantasy" bookings are fantastically awesome Much the same reason Keith Hernandez doesn't want to be a hitting coach: they don't want the day-to-day grind that the job requires. And I'm sure he doesn't want to deal with Vince questioning everything he does.

Just for that closing segment alone, hand that man the book. Hire someone who understands wrestling and isn't a Hollywood writer?

Yeah that's a fair point Being a booker under Vince would be rather horrible, and for someone like Lance who appears to be doing awesomely with his school it would be a stupid career move. There has to be a good wrestling mind somewhere willing to step up somewhere?

Has Lance Storm ever discussed whether he would go back to WWE in a backstage role, either as an agent or a trainer type role?
I vaguley remember hearing it had something to do with location, but I thought that was more about using his wrestling school as one of WWE's developmental territories.

I do remember him saying that if it was some way he could do creative without the travel he'd do it. I think the crux of it is that if WWE offered him any work that he could do at home he'd be interested.
