So, in other words, this generation's Danny Davis? 80s: Danny Davis 90s: Nick Patrick 2012: Brad Maddox Every decade (or so) has to have a crooked referee. Gosh, I flipped out in joy every time Nick Patrick missed something due to checking his watch or shoelace.

I think it was well done, they planted the seed long ago enough that it didn't seem telegraphed. I noticed him as ref in the beginning and thought something was up, but in truth I forgot about that by the time Ryback had Punk up for the Shell Shock.

Loved it, loved it, loved it. Classic old-school heelery, we need more of that.

The question is what does Maddox do now? Become a wrestler? Stay as Punk's personal corrupt official?

I think tomorrow, Maddox will be punished and placed in a match with Ryback.
Maddox then shows off that he knows how to wrestle but gets squashed in two minutes.

Bonus points if he's wearing a neckbrace.

So basically it's
- Punk - Heyman - Brad Maddox
And probably Lesnar in the future. I say give them 1 more wrestler and it'll be a good stable. I'm still saying bring in Ambrose and maybe 1 active guy possible Cesaro considering that one newz report. Either way things are booming for the Heyman guys.

Punk and Brock as the "centerpiece" players, with one of them eventually turning face on the others, Maddox as the lower-midcard guy, and the guy that will usually take the loss. I like the idea of bringing in Cesaro to be a part of it, but instead of Ambrose, call up Kassius Ohno from NXT to be his tag team partner, and make them the tag team of the stable.

I've heard about the finish to the main event. If I paid 50 bucks for the ppv, I would be pissed. What a way to belittle the meaning of Hell in a Cell.
