He will still be on top unless he takes a vacation. There's no one to replace him yet.

Bold prediction perhaps, but I see him being in the spot Orton is right now I.e still a top star but not involved in a whole lot.

Honestly? In 5 years they'll be out of fresh Wrestlemania matches featuring a circle jerk combination of the same 2 guys and Attitude Era main eventers ft Brock Lesnar. Also he'll be 40 by then, so someone's going to have to rise in his place.

I mean, hes definitely getting another run with the title in the coming year, thats for certain. But with that said, I think hes gonna start putting more people over. The company doesn't need him to carry the title anymore, they have enough possible people to finally take over. Not to mention in the next 5 years, we should have the current crop of NXT guys populating the roster.
The old guards, they are a-changin'.

The future is not bright, I think it's time for him to be a heel and be the leader of Aces and 8's...

He'll still be the main face in the company.

He'll be a wrinkly old guy that doesn't look particularly good in HD, wearing brightly colored merch.

Positive this will happen.
Cena will be "the man" for at least another year and will get a great title run next year after he beats The Rock. Afterwards he will pass the torch to the next guy who will take over. With that in light Cena will finally turn heel now that someone takes over. Heel Cena will be the biggest in the company. Afterwards whether heel or face Cena will be a combination of Michaels and Taker in the mid-late 2000s. He will be at the top but putting over guys, main event level and having high WM matches.

5 years from now we'll be talking about how now is a good time to turn him heel.

Not sure about five years, but in 10 years we'll see threads pining for the glory days of the John Cena era.

Not sure about five years, but in 10 years we'll see threads pining for the glory days of the John Cena era. The children of today will be the ones doing it. Most of the people here would finally stop watching and/or caring about wrestling.

Hopefully not, but I think he could be forced to take early retirement after all his injuries start catching up to him.
