Why is it a "Super Smackdown"? Won't the RAW guys be having their own house show this time?

I want to see a HHH appearance during the worst time on one of these events where something big is going on just so in the ratings breakdown we can see "The HHH segment lost 792,000" viewers. =P

Will Vince even be there? Presumably he'd rather be with his wife on the night and won't be able to be at the venue at the same time. After all, if it does happen he won't want to miss out on the photo-op, will he? And be photographed with a sad face during her concession speech? "Yet another 100 Million dollars down the drain. And we didn't even get a single super posedown, or cheerleaders in the dressing room." -Vince, mumbling to himself in the corner.

Why is it a "Super Smackdown"? Won't the RAW guys be having their own house show this time? they could stick the Main event on first at the Raw house show and helicopter the main eventers to wherever Smackdown is in time for the last segment, I saw a Smackdown house show a few years back where Punk V Taker went on first so they could get Taker to Sheffield to appear at the close of Raw

Younger kids usually don't care about politics. On the night every major network has coverage of the election, an alternative like wrestling gets real attractive to those who aren't interested in the election. I think you're right.

You know, for all the talk of how "UFC isn't actually competition for WWE, they can share an audience", this is a Monday Night War type thing where WWE's essentially putting their product against a better version of the same product, because the campaign/election is some of the best storylines, feuds, writing and promos around, all culminating in a main event people actually give a shit about because the buildup's been so great.
If only the fools running THAT promotion would get that they shouldn't blow their money match on free TV...

Definitely like this. I'll follow the election on-line. I don't need all the "blah, blah" just the numbers. Now I've got something to look forward to.

Most of the guys will be at their 5th or 6th match in as many days by the time RAW and Smackdown hit.

Because one is a predetermined circus with over the top caricatures and run by rich egomaniacs and the other is pro wrestling? This is the best thing I've ever read on here. Post of the year.
