YES!
He should be on every show tho, and Lawler should retire and stay healthy.

Good news. Him and Cole together every week might get old quick with their back-and-forth, so it's good that they'll only be together for PPVs.
We'll see how long he can put up with Vince screaming in his headset all show long. As a fill-in he probably ignored a lot of Vince's garbage.

What will happen to al the mountains to climb, though? I think they'll still be there He's said he'll still be doing his Mountain climbs, and when he's away doing them they'll just have someone replace him for a while, probably Striker or even Regal.

Honestly with how much influence JBL has, I wouldn't doubt if Vince just let him do his thing. It's not like JBL is a rookie with putting people over and stuff.

For those of you who want Cole and JBL together, I think he'll be doing as many episode of Main Event as his new BFF The Miz will. And Cole will always be there to do pbp it seems.
With all the great matches so far on ME I'd rather them get that rare commentary spotlight and allow Josh to cut his teeth on the "A" show Smackdown.
EDIT: and oddly enough the "he" I refer to in the first paragraph is JBL, not Cole. Whatta difference a year makes!!

Man alive did I ever want to punch this face in 2004. One of the few heels that actually got under my skin. Great commentator though. Great to hear he'll be back on "The show that is single-handily changing Friday nights!" I think that's how he used to refer to Smackdown during his 1st commentary run.

What a terrible PPV. That was a really good match though.

Awesome news. I really liked JBL the first time around and was very sad when he left. He's been a lot of fun in this run and I'm glad that he's sticking around for a while.

I like JBL because he unabashedly says "wrestling" and "wrestler."

It may be in commentator form, but the best WWE heel of the last ten years is officially back.
Bow down to your Wrestling God, heretics.

Did anyone else notice he called Booker 'King Booker' after the backstage Booker/Barrett segment? That made me chuckle.

I like JBL because he unabashedly says "wrestling" and "wrestler." It's not like those are taboo words as they were in 2010. Cole, JR and Matthews say them on a weekly basis these days.

What I find really cool about it, and this might sound stupid, is that he's doing it because he loves it and really nothing more. On Facebook he talked about his travel schedule to do his 2 Fox shows, how he's still training to do his climbs, he lives in Burmuda, does all his good-will stuff there. He's wealthy, he's not doing it because he needs a job, he's doing it because filling in for King made him realize how much he missed it, and when you have a guy that is there PURELY for that reason, not to say the others don't love it, but they need the money as well, it just makes it more special to me. Plus, he can get away with saying/doing stuff that others may not be as willing to say/do. Love when he brings up histories of other promotions some of the guys have been in. NO ONE else does that.
